It was really difficult reading all the reviews for the different modems and routers to make the right selection. Just went to the store and asked around and was told to use this modem and an Apple router and I could not be happier.

A little tough setting up with new router but think more to do with internet provider than devices. One suggestion is follow directions/steps explicitly. Meaning do the set up in the exact order as listed if coupling with wireless router. Have had no issues since set up. Great connectivity.

Good Modem for the Price

It supports the latest Docsis 3.0 standard so its a bit future proof until the next standard is release though it really doesn't matter unless you are getting speeds that require it. Pair this with a capable router and you should be happy for a long time.

Had to return because it wasn't what we needed.

It provided great connection, but we realized once we got home that we needed to have a phone jack in the back in order to get our phone working. Had to return. Aside from that - it was a very good modem.
