Great for small households

Allows for IPv6 connections if you know your networking stuff. Remember to call your ISP first to give them the MAC address of the modem.

easy to use/install

I had problems getting the max throughput advertised by Comcast, turned out it wasn't the modem but the cables in my home. After fixing the cables all good.

Spectrum cable modem replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace my Spectrum-provided 3-in-1 internet-TV-VOIP modem, which randomly rebooted itself due to some issue it had because I only subscribed to internet service (no TV or phone service). Based on speed tests, this modem is slightly slower than the Spectrum modem, but it doesn't randomly reboot itself.

Decided to take the dive and just purchase our own. It was an expense up front, but NO more renting and no more issues with our modems!

I saved more with my rewards and it being on sale too. Hooked it up to the WiFi modem I have and the WiFi extender and BAM in business. paid for itself in 2 months.

Great Replacement for Cable Company Modem

It works perfectly. The ironic thing is that the old cable modem, which has VOIP phone cababilites, remains in place except I no longer have to pay the rental fee.
