This is a good modem and gets good speed for gaming

Easy set up, just call cable/internet provider and provide them the modem MAC address located on the box or bottom of unit and thats it. plug in power cord and coax cable

I highly recommend for anyone renting a modem from comcast. Just buy it and ends up being cheaper than renting the same modem from comcast at the end of your first year.

We are so happy with our new Modem. This saves us the monthly rental fee we used to pay the cable company. Within 10 months it will have paid for itself and we will be saving money. We should have done this right away.

Plug & play easy hookup, works with comcast service

This modem is great. Takes some patience to configure since you have to call Comcast to activate in the account. It will save you the monthly rent they charge you and the connection is much more stable and fast. Love it!

Basically, it comes with everything for starting the internet with Cable Company's internet. You may better to purchase before technician come in.

The modem is capable of handling speeds of 100 Mbps, no issues. As it is a DOCSIS 3.0 modem, it meets the current internet standards, though DOCIS 3.1 is going to be the standard in the near term future. No worries, this modem still covers you for a few more years of internet connectivity.

Worked great to avoid cable company charge for modem. If you have internet and phone from spectrum(time warner), you will need this modem, a splitter, two coaxial cables, and a phone modem(free) from cable company.

this item was great but was not what i needed, plz train your employees better

I used to have a modem with my cable company, but I bought this one and have noticed significant improvement to my wifi service throughout my home and grounds. I do lose connection every now and then, but it is an issue with my internet provider, not this modem. They resend the signal and everything works great again!

This router has been quick, when it has worked with my comcast connection. I have it connected to a media server and it has provided good speeds. It has had difficulty with my comcast signal. Still waiting to see if this is a router or comcast signal issue.

I replaced the cable modem that Time Warner installed with this one. The first unit would not connect properly with the TWC folks but Best Buy let me replace with a second unit, identical to the first, and it works fine.

I'm use to being able to turn off my old Motorola modem, I miss that feature, the modem lights are bright and you notice them in an unlit room. I have no need for the modem to be on 24/7 so I just unplug it when not in use, that may not be easy or convenient for other users though. Besides that, its a great modem.

Our cable company no longer supports the docsys 2 modems so we were forced to upgrade but that wasn't all that terrible. We have noticeably faster and a more constant connection since purchasing this modem.

Product was supposed to be but i had issues working with my old Linksys N router and finally i was forced to buy a new router to make it work .... The issue may be with my ISP but after changing my router to a new one it works ok. I am not seeing any great improvement in speed like what Comcast boasts about their Blast .

I wish I had stopped renting my cable company's modem sooner and purchased this. Excellent value which will pay for itself in less than a year.
