We had a modem from Xfinity that we were renting. The technician that installed it suggested that we buy this modem. We did, and it has saved us money and worked well for our Internet needs.

After a letter, email, and a phone call from Comcast that my modem needed an update, this one quieted them down and works fine. Painless installation required a phone call so Comcast could recognize it. The white body glows, and it not the most stylish electronic device I own but functions well. No complaints.

This product works great upstairs and downstairs in the house, usually full bars. Only FYI is advise to buy the extended warranty, it is only 20 bucks for two additional years, these type of products can fail after the first year.

Have always rented our equipment for our internet service. Was told it would be less expensive if we purchased our own. Was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to use. Well worth the cost in the long run.

Bought this when my old modem died. Note that if you have Comcast, you can't just plug it in and go. Comcast has to send entirely new softwsre signal out before it works. After that, everything is smooth.

Suggested by a friend that I spend a little more and purchase dedicated wifi as opposed to the wifi modem combo. Glad I did. Taking full.advantage of cable speeds. Bought this in combination with the netgear wifi.

If youre with a cable Internet company that rents you their modem that has the built in router, stop. Buy this, and buy a decent modem and you will never ever have problems with connectivity like your neighbors!

We bought this to avoid rental fees from the cable giant and so far it does what it's supposed to. I really have no clue how all these things work but for the basic internet package we have it's perfect.

This is a must have if upgrading your internet! YOU NEED THIS DOCSIS3.0 for 50mg and higher download speeds at home!! If you don't have this it will still work but you will never get the speeds you are paying for!!

I did a lot of research before buying this. It is by far the best you can buy. Don't go for the gateways, they are just asking for trouble. I recommend price matching with amazon when you buy this, they are quite a bit cheaper.

Purchased this modem to convert from DSL to CableModem as the DSL in my area was no longer sufficiently stable or fast to work on. So far, I have not had any signal drops, and my bandwidth increased from 3meg to between 40 and 60.

Just what my title says: This is THE modem to get. Used by most, if not all, telecom companies. This has been my go-to modem for the last 10 years. Super fast and zero issues! I highly recommend!

Upgraded from previous Moto Modem (docsis 2.0) to this Moto Modem (docsis 3.0) because my Local internet provider started hosting docsis 3.0. I have definitely noticed an increase in the quality of the signal. A must purchase.

The set up for this modem was very simple and only took a few minutes. The store associate steered me in the right direction and I'm now saving $8.00 a month in modem rental from my Internet povider.

Purchased in error. I needed a router/modem to replace the unit I had.

After going through two modems provided by Spectrum I picked up this one to fix my connectivity issues and wolla! no more drop offs!. The refurbished mdoems from spectrum apparently are on their last leg.

Replaced existing equipment that required periodic resets. Have had this for a while and once it was set up it has been rock solid. Configuration was a breeze.

Wow. Nice speed and ease of setup. Price could be a little lower but still better than leasing from Comcast.

Always liked Arris products..... until there is a problem. My 3rd ARRIS cable modem and it was a little over a year old & got fried with an electrical spike thru the actual cable from Xfinity. Worked with both companies & tried multiple tests & finally convinced them it really was dead. After much much ado, I was directed to send the cable modem back to Arris at MY expense & waited nearly 3 weeks for them to return a new one with the warranty only extended to end as my original one would have expired (another 10 months instead of 2 years). I managed to work with a local Best Buy manager who loaned me another cable modem for the interim (thank you!). If they had not done that, I would have been without internet the entire time. Last time I buy Arris. It was still under warranty, they should have paid for the return & sent me a new one immediately & even could have put a small hold on a credit card until the defective one was received - anything than what they put me thru. Customer service sucks - moving on to other product lines in the future that appreciate our business.
