I needed to stop leasing our modem from Comcast and it was explained what I would at least need to buy to satisfy our requirements. The ARRIS SURFboard was on sale AND it's more than satisfied my needs.

The 'cable guy' seemed happy to see a new model modem. It has performed well so far. Thebreal test will come when I try to stream a movie.

My old unit used to drop signal all the time, this new model hasn't dropped signal once. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new cable modem.

Great router for those needing docsis 3.0 since fiber is not available in my area. Waiting on docsis 3.1 for 1gb internet service via coaxial.

It was good for the time, but now with more demand for bandwidth, it's time to upgrade to a modem with Gigabit connections. I would have to restart this modem periodically.

Bought this modem to save money from renting from the cable company. Haven't noticed any differences (for the worse) from the one I was renting.

I bout this so i didn't have to pay the monthly rental charge from TW ... works great and i don't have to reboot like I did with the TW equipment

Using this cable modem for my Orbi WiFi mesh system. Replaced Xfinity all-in-one. Seems to do very well. Only 1 Ethernet port.

Having my own modem saves a few dollars a month on the internet bill. This works with Med*acom. Though I had to call to get it activated. But they were quick and friendly about it. Happy surfing and streaming!

I thought the installation was easy. The instructions should state you have to call your internet provider with the product information to get it to work. I really haven't noticed a large speed difference from my 2.0 modem.

Easy to use and set up. A good match for the ones the cable company gives you so it's an easy way to get out of the rental feel. Eventually it pays for itself.

This modem is easy to use and very user friendly. When paired with my router I have no problems with my internet. With a house full of electronics this makes life easier without paying the internet company's crazy modem fees.
