    This is very basic modem for the price. Good enough to supply the reguler internet. Just one Ethernet port to connect to the wifi router. So don't expect much.

    Plugged in and worked. Although we did have some trouble with Comcasts auto activation, I blame comcast, not the modem.

    I was told to buy this one from mediacom repair service but it is not any faster than the 4x that I had which was only 9 months old. I think I was misled to buy a new one.

    This is a great way to stick it to your ISP. Stop them from gouging you with a $7 - $10 modem rental fee per month.
