The salesperson said this could replace my time warner modem for all 3 services: phone, internet and cable. It will not work for phone so you will still need a cable modem. The good news is just using it for phone the co. dropped my rental fee but now they have a plan without it anyway so this is useless and I should've returned it. I also spent many hours on the phone trying to get it to connect. I know IT so I know I was doing everything right but it wouldn't connect until I disconnected and reconnected it more than 10x and then it finally saw the signal. Frustrating!

Had to return because the 8 channel was slowing down the speed we could get off our router with the number of devices we hAve connected. Go for the 16 channel it is approved for optimum.

Router needs to be reset multiple times per week. I truly have MORE issues than when I was renting the modem from Time Warner. That's a sad statement.

I bought this modem to replace one I had gotten from my cable company. It failed in less than 2 weeks and I exchanged it for another of the same model. So far I haven't had any problems with the replacement.

If I had other option, then I would have bought something else if I wasn't with Cox communication. Over all, it's good enough if you're using the modem for yourself.

I got this when I had Time Warner - did NOT want to pay $11.99/mo 'lease fee' for their modem... Beware, however, if you switch to Cincy Bell; this modem has ONLY a cable input - no Cat 5

I does the job, I do need to reset it a few times a week... Not sure if it Comcast angry with me for no longer renting a modem, but it is a small price to pay to save money in the long run

After buying this cable modem to save fees from cox, I found out you need the modem & router combo for this purpose. The old routers will not work with this modem

Product is good looking but very poor in performance. Was told that this is one of the latest once but was disappointed as net keeps on dropping despite having Turbo. Thinking of returning the same.

Ended up taking back the modem and upgrading to a faster modem as this is advertised as over 300Mbps but Time Warner limits it to 100Mbps. Got one that Time Warner supports at 300Mbps

The person hooking up the cable and internet from the cable company said that I needed a wireless remote modem and router so I returned it for a more suitable modem. I am happy with the new modem.

I have Spectrum and for some reason I have to reset this at least twice a week. They are blaming the device and not their service. I'm not really sure which is 100% at fault.

Have spent over 3 hours on the phone with Arris and Time Warner. Time Warner says that it is a preferred model, so must be defective. Has said I must exchange it. Will do so this weekend.

...but is not up to the task of handling all that ISPs are providing now. So will it work? Yes. Are there better options out there for most people? Definitely.

I am using this with Centurylink which you set up on your own. Had issue with needing passwords and spent a lot of time with customer service. Works great after all of that.
