The modem worked fine with the Charter service and was easy to set up but after 3 1/2 months it just stopped working. Tried resetting it but that didn't work.. Charter technician checked it out and the modem had crapped out. It wasn't an expensive modem but that is a ridiculously short life. Waste of $50.

It is run ok, no faster. My internet was 50mega. I updated 100mega. And replace by this modern, but not faster.

I replaced my old modem with this modem. Both were the same model/brand. There is apparently a shelf life. The price is right.

It works good, but its not fast enough for multiple devices at once. My devices take a while to load and vise versa.

This unit has a cable modem, but no router. If you need a router, you must by the unit that has a router built in.

I needed 2 ports. By the time I realized that I had connected the modem so couldn't return it for the next model up.

This is the worst modem I've ever had. I purchased it to take advantage of increased internet speed. However, after connecting it and troubleshooting with my provider the max I could achieve was 60Mbps. I exchanged it for an actual Motorola model which is definitely much better. Definitely wouldn't recommend the Arris.

old modem was dropping connections. this is more reliable in that connections do not drop, but is overall slower

This device was not compatible with my cable company. Was able to return it and get the correct one with no issues

I had to purchase this one because I switched cable providers. Prefer my Netgear, but this one does the job.

home use is excellent but when I connect my work firewall, the firewall can't keep the ISP address so my work connection fails.

Not bad for what it is. Don't get it if you want great sound. Got it for me in-law who didn't want any Bluetooth

It saves the money we pay for the network providers, it would be better to buy a wifi one if it is in your budget

I like this modem , it is performing well so far however I am hoping it will last at leats a few more years

This seemed to work ok but I upgraded to a newer model

This modem is solid when the firmware doesn't automatically update. Every couple of days the firmware is automatically updated and the speed plummets to 1-2mbps. Unplug, plug in, new firmware loads and your back to running full speed. If I could return this modem I would, but I've had it for 3 months now. Installed old modem - Motorola sb 6120, hasn't slowed down yet.

My children don't get the coverage that they did when I had a more expensive router/modem combo

The product says it was easy to installed. Like plug and play. Plugged everything in per instructions. follow the instruction to activate. Did not work, end up having to spend an hour calling comcast to get product activated. So not as easy as advertised. Also, after the installation, internet keeps cutting out hourly. Had to reset 3 times to finish watching a movie.

I returned this for the same brand but newer model for faster speed.

It worked good at first and now it is acting up. I dont feel I am getting the correct speed from the modem.
