I needed to replace a combo modem/router that was very slow and dropped my wifi signal at least once a day. The Best Buy associate that I talked to at the store recommended this unit plus the Linksys - 802.11ac Smart Wi-Fi Gigabit Router. I am thrilled, as they are both relatively inexpensive, simple to install, and together they function as a single unit--fast and efficient. An excellent recommendation.

I was apprehensive about purchasing this modem because of the price, but I am so glad I decided to go for it. I have only had it for a couple of months, but I have not had a single issue with it. My internet is crazy fast! And, based on what the cable company charges you to rent their inefficient modem, it pays for itself in no time.

Bought this modem to replace my old DOCSIS 2.) Lynsys modem. Recently signed up for double play package and wanted to get the higher speeds. At first I though there was something wrong cause a swapped it out and wasn't getting the higher speeds, but once I by passed my router and hooked my computer directly to the modem speeds were blazing. I have since replaced the bottle neck router. The product works great.

Easy set up with ISP. I got this to go with my Apple Time Capsule and they work GREAT together! Increased internet speed in my home with fewer dropped connections. The key is to get a great modem/router combination - one without the other just won't do. I've had other modems that have petered out in less than a year. So far, the Motorola SURFboard SB6141 is going strong and works very well with Apple products.

I have been a fan of these modems since 2004 and they never let me down. Work flawlessly with COX Communications in Phoenix AZ. Bulletproof and the configuration couldn't be any easier. Open, plug into your home. Take a picture of the Mac ID and Serial number and call the Cable company to register on the network with that information and your good to go. ISP providers automatically update them for you.

Product was very easy to setup and seems very reliable. I'm getting really fast speed.

Bought this after reading several reviews and to upgrade my DOCSIS 2.0 modem. I recently dropped cable and phone after "you know who" raised their rates to an astronomical price. Instant speed boost over the 2.0 modem. If it has one drawback is that the bright blue lights on the front light up the entire room at night.

I bought this as I realized how much my cable company was charging me to rent their modem. It will pay for itself in about a year. It is faster and a lot smaller than the cable company's modem. I'm very happy with this purchase. Very simple to set up and it looks nice too!

Easy install great results my online surfing is fast and i haven't had a problem.

Works great with Comcast. Better than what I was renting. Set up was extremely easy - didn't even have to call Comcast. Was able to activate through the web. There is a light on the front that blinks red if it is not connected to a gigabit capable device. Somewhat irritating since my router is not gigabit, but it's hidden in a cabinet so not too bad. Much better than renting for $10 a month!

Great little modem that replaces my leased one from Time Warner, and will pay for itself less than a year. I had to call Time Warner to get it activated, but that is not a negative for the modem itself. I think we are getting faster speeds as well. The only con I would say, is that the lights on it are super bright blue. Luckily, my modem is in a cabinet, so it is not an issue for me.

I pay for 30GB of internet (and was only getting about 12) and was using a modem that was close to 5 years old. I replaced mine with this Modem and my speeds instantly went to 30. It's not the super high end Modem, but it definitely works well and is affordable. I use the internet much more than the average person too. I don't see why you would need something more powerful than this.

I needed to replace my old modem with a new docsys 3.0 modem to take advantage of the speeds that my provider was giving me. This modem seemed to be the best bang for the price, and is it ever. Speed tests show I'm getting double the speed I was getting before, and it hasn't been down yet. Awesome.

I purchased this modem to replace one that was no longer supported by my local ISP provider. I selected this model because of the reviews online - and the strong reviews were right on. Time to set-up was ~5 minutes (which included opening the packaging). Could not have been easier to set-up, and I've noticed slightly faster performance as well. This comes highly recommended.

This modem had been nothing but reliable. It is plenty fast for our purposes. With two intermediate school kids and us, there are times that we are streaming for movies at once, plus uploading my hobby pictures and videos. It has never failed to deliver full HD quality with all of that usage.

I bought this modem mostly to get out from under Comcast's modem rental charge. It does work with my service, and it was easy to install. I've noticed a vast improvement in my internet speed with it. I had been using a Comcast-issued Arris CM820A before this that had quite a few miles under its belt, and now browsing on my computer/phone and streaming on my Roku are all much smoother, faster experiences (no more waiting for Netflix to buffer).

Best modem for this price I can say. Easy to set up, and very reliable.

This is a great modem and it works with Comcast xfinity. NOTE: Only works for internet not Comcast voice. I was getting 24mbps down and 2.5mbps up with the old leased modem from Comcast, now I'm getting 50mbps down and 5mbps up. I'm very happy with it. Setup was super easy, just called Comcast and activated it. Then returned the leased modem. Now I'm saving $10 a month.
