This is a great modem. I got it to replace my 8 year old SurfBoard. This thing is monumentally faster! Love it!

Bought the surfboard 3.0 because my home internet was lacking to say the least. The 3.0 almost tripled my Mbps on download and doubled the upload speed.

Bought this to avoid the $5 monthly fee from Xfinity to use their modem, and so far it's working fantastically. Should have made this switch sooner.

This was a replacement for another Motorola DOCSIS 3.0 modem. It was just as easy as the original one to install and commission. Works as described!

I bought this modem when my cable company started charging me for their modem. After reading the reviews, and seeing the item on sale I decided to purchase it. Yes it emits a strong light but where I have it located on my computer desk behind the printer I have no problems with it. It works great! I have saved over $60 a year with this purchase

Its awesome. We use it along with a wireless router since we have a big home and we stream a lot. Worth the money we spent on it.

We bought this modem because we didn't like renting from our cable provider. It was fairly easy to hook up and we haven't had any problems with it.

This modem is very easy to install, has very fast internet speeds. Overall a great product for the cost. Dealing with Comcast to have it added to your account is a whole other story.

For those of us who haven't gone gigabyte speed yet, this modem is reliable and reasonably priced. It offers a good rate of speed with no interruptions. A good choice for those of us not in the superfast lane yet.

I got this modem after I cut my Comcast triple play into an internet only package. Since I no longer needed the modem they provided with built in phone support, I decided to get this rather than continuing to rent one for $9 per month. The modem has been outstanding and has delivered speeds just as good as the one I was renting from Comcast. It will pay for itself in less than a year.

I'm very happy from that modem because I save money & no more paying for my internet provider for lease.

I needed a cheap modem to avoid having to pay cox for their monthly fee. This modem did the trick. I don't know if it was Cox or the modem but it did take some time for them to register the MAC address. I used this modem for a year and only rebooted it once. It was very reliable.

Bought this for my SIL it works awesome for her. Her other one suddenly broke and this was the replacement & still going strong!

I purchased this router so I could skip dealing with Time Warner Cable setting up a router for me and charging for it. It was simple to install and works flawlessly with my wifi router. Speeds are great and haven't had an interruption yet (had it for just over a month)! Very pleased with this purchase!

We decided to buy the equipment instead of renting from our provider and we have been completely happy with how well this modem has performed!

Works just as expected. Does not crash or slow down my connection. Worst part is the lights are very bright and can really light up a dark room.
