Great to replace Time Warner leased modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had not a plan to buy a new modem, but the previous paid modem I had for about seven years, become over the night Time Warner's property and I had to pay a monthly lease. I preferred to return the old modem to the alleged owner, Time Warner (that so far did not reimbursed me) and to but my own modem. I recommend to all Time Warmer customer to buy their own modem instead to pay a monthly rent that goes over this modem price in about ten month.

I completed the installation by myself with the help of my local internet provider's 1-800 number. The modem was been working nicely for the past month with no complaints. The only slight fall back to this modem is that it does not have a reset button (you have to unplug and plug back in the power cord to the device) and that you need a router to distribute the signal to other devices in your home.
