Thus modem was bought specifically to replace a dying older surfboard modem at home, and it does exactly what we need: connect cable Internet to our router.

This is great for getting rid of charges that some cable companies charge you for modem rental,. Some of which can be 6 or 7 dollars a month, it will pay for itself within a year, and you get to keep the savings.

Have to reset it more often than necessary. But otherwise, works pretty good. Price was ok. Affordable. Not a bad modem, just not a really great one.

I have not had any issues. I kept losing my internet connection so I was a little concerned as to whether I needed a modem or another router. Since the modem was many, many years old I decided to replace it.

If you have to have Xfinity/Cascast ISP in your area over Frontier, then this will be a good option to not have to pay to rent a modem from them. You will easily make-up the money spent on the router by not paying the rental fees in less than a year.

With what the cable company charges to rent one, I figure I'm about break-even within the year. Since it should last longer than that, I'll end up saving at least as much as I spent and then sone.

Someone must have installed this modem and then returned it. It would not allow me to assign it to my internet provider. Had to take it back. Best Buy switched it out without an issue, but they were out of stock. Upgraded to a different motorola.

It is a great product. It is well worth the money. I bought it so I can return my time warner modem and not pay a monthly charge for my slow modem.

the product was a little bit expensive but I bought it so that I wouldn't have to pay the cable company the money so in the long run it will pay off for me and the cable company won't get my money

Once I figured out how to use it, this modem has worked great. The initial trick was you had to plug everything in, in the right order. Works with Comcast/xfinity service and cheaper than renting.

Got this modem to replace the one that came with the Internet provider. It works great! Saving money by replacing it and getting better service.

We had a generic wi-Fi modem previously which required an extender because our house is on the bigger side. With this modem we no longer need the extender because the range and strength are great.

I have been using this modern for over a month now and so far it works good. Sometimes it is a little slow but im not sure if thats the internet service. I guess im happy with my purchase

I have had no issues since I got it running. Setup was complicated with having a new internet carrier and uncertainty of where the carrier enters the house so it was hard to test the modem until everything was simultaniously resolved.

This modems works as advertised. It will deliver twice the data rate that I needed when purchased so it will be good in the future. It is not a modem/router which is exactly whaet I wanted.

I given 1 star less because I bought for replace comcast modem so I can save money,but problem is I can't use for home phone service,I can only use for cable service ,so I returned back.for cable use work fine.

It is a great cable modem,easy to set up will provide you better service then the cable providers cable modem and you wont pay anything to them every month for a leased 10 year old modem

Purchased to replace friend's DOCSIS 2.0 version that stopped working. Installation was easy. Performance is better than old one. It has been trouble-free since installing 6 weeks ago.

Great product. Works well with transfer rates and comes with pogo which is great for remote access if you have a wireless router with USB.

I love this product! I can get wifi in any room in my house even outside, my previous router would buffer and have a choppy signal in rooms outside of the device.
