It's a modem. Overpriced in my opinion as the tech hasn't changed in 5+ years nor has the price. But, better than paying a rental fee every month.

Bought this to replace our time warner leased modem to save $9 a month. Works better then the one we were leased and is saving us money! It's a win win

Couldn't get it to work with my belkin router or get TWC to acknowledge my new modem. I have to plug it directly into my laptop which doesn't make it portable and I can no longer get WIFI

Excellent cable modem that functions as advertised. It was on sale when I bought and is quickly paying for itself with the savings on the cable bill.

Purchased to replace modem from Oceanic. Since replacing, we haven't had dropped connections to internet.

Needed to upgrade to a docsis 3.0 modem and purchased this model. We are heavy internet users and the modem has handled the traffic without problem.

Purchased instead of renting from Comcast. Had no problems when called Comcast to verify modem. Only problems having are not the modems fault.

I was required to up grade my modern by my computer server and found this one to be the best buy and the one that would serve my computer the best!

I bought the modem so I don't have to pay $8 a month to rent one from Comcast. It works great, set up was easy (no set up). Simpler design than the previous versions, it is easier to look at.

We bought it so we don't have to pay our cable company a monthly charge. Should of thought of it sooner.

I would definitely buy the stuff again if I needed it and I would definitely recommend it to other people to buy because it's done fabulous so far.

This modem is great and just about the latest technology you need to connect to the internet today.

This Arris modem is not worth the money. I purchased this modem to save money from Comcast and at the same time received high speed Internet. It was a nightmare to connect to the Internet then the signal would go out and back in making it almost impossible to stream a video. After the warranty expired the modem broke. Trust me on this one save the money and purchase something better, this one is not worthy.

i would buy again if i had to but i hope i dont i dont know what to say but buy one it looks great.

Did not take too long to set up although instructions are minimal. Took a few minutes and a couple of trys for Comcast to recognize the modern, once that happened it works fine.

I guess I just got a lemon. It did not last through the installation. Comcast tech said it was not common but it happened to me. Motorola customer support said the same thing. I did not want to risk it so I returned to the store and bought a Zoom modem which the comcast tech recommended as well.
