Easy set up,worked great right out of box.compatible with other units in network

Bought this for my in-laws as Xfinity was repeatedly sending them letters to upgrade to DOCSIS 3.0. They live in a small towm and subscribe to Xfinity Performance Internet, which is 25 Mbps. This modem handles that speed with no issue. If they had a faster plan or lived in a city, I would probably have bought the next Motorola modem up due to the expanded 8 channels for downloading.

When I decided I was going to get ride of my cable and just use them for internet, I didn't want to pay anymore rental fees to the cable company. I bought one of these and called the cable company and had the initialize my account with the mac address on this modem and its been working fine every since. Save you self some money and buy your equipment instead of renting it as I did.

Very good modem. Easy to install. Provides the speed I need to get the most out of my internet connection.

I was switching my internet to Comcast and didn't want to rent a modem from them monthly. I checked their website for compatible models and this was near the top and had all of the checkmarks. I figured for $50, if it works for even half a year, it is worth it. The installer came, hooked up the modem, and my router, and there was the internet. Have run into no issues thus far. Just plugged it in and went online (with the router of course)..

Recently switched to Comcast internet ( so you Comcast customers can use this product) and they charge $10 a month to rent their modem. In 7 months this should pay for itself. I have this modem now for three weeks. So only time will tell if this was the route to go instead of renting. So far i have had to reset the modem two times... not liking that but for the price i know I'm not getting the very best product. A better than average product.

I currently own this model and my internet runs perfect with speed and streaming. My neighbor, who is elderly and technologically challeged, needed a replacement modem after a recent Comcast upgrade. I bought this model for her as well and she was extremely happy with the performance. The box is located in her basement and office located on the 3rd floor. No delays or issues.

This modem worked right of the box when the Comcast installer showed up to get the internet installed. It has been running for about 6 weeks with no problems. Works great with my Luxul XBR-4400 router. Easily handles my 25Mbps internet connection. No need for a higher throughput modem if your internet connection is less that 100Mbps. Works with my VPNs both outgoing and incoming.

Bought this after Comcast moved to DOCSIS 3.0 ... it is a good value for the price. It is one of the devices that is triple certified on the comcast list of approved modems that can be used. Was advised by a Best Buy store rep to choose this and not the SB6141 as speeds available to residential customers are handled by the SB6121 itself. Good advise and great price !

Never struggling with the connection and my speed seems to have improved

Never have any issues with this modem. Great performance and easy setup.

Some people have reported issues in compatibility with xfinity/Comcast. I have not had any issues with connection. This modem does what it is supposed to and I have no complaints about speed or connectivity. I do some gaming, but mostly have tablets on wifi. This handles things just fine!

For a basic modem with quality essentials this one hits the mark just right. It wasn't the most expensive modem, but also not the cheapest. I chose to buy one compatible with my internet provider instead of renting one for $10 a month. I've had it for over a month now and it works wonderfully!

Very reliable product. Simple installation and it saved me a modem fee.
