Solved the Comcast problem. My old router worked just fine, unfortunately Comcast decided not to support that router any more. I cannot say that this router is any better than the one I was using.

Good modem for the price, not the best of you have more than 2 connecting devices. Had to restart once... Main frustration was steaming speed when using 2 device. I am ok with this product

I have Cox preferred package internet. My old modem could download files up to 5 MB/s. MegaByte not Megabits. This new modem actually slows my speed down to 2.5-3 MB/s. :(

I wanted to change the the network key but was having a hard time so when I called they wanted to charge me. Very frustrating. Never changed it. Won't buy a product from them again.

Instruction book not included in the book. Was unsure what to do when system went down because of lightning. No help button to push for assistance

Good for internet, got this because it was basic and cheap. Lifetime isn't so good which is why I gave it 3 stars.

A bit frustrated that I need to reboot this modem at least once a week in order to keep it operation for internet use. Otherwise, it seems to get the job done.

I have not had any problems with this modem. Although, when performing the install i had to power cycle an extra time before the connection was successful.

Cox recommended that I get a faster modem to support their speeds. Honestly was no faster. As long as yours works, I would say save your money.

This particular item did not work in installation so I returned it and got next model up. That model works

First unit was dead on arrival. 2 lights on constantly. Second worked after the cable company fixed there end.

I wanted to stop renting a modem from Comcast and so I bought the Arris modem / router for xfinity. I regretfully unplugged my netgear router and initialized use of the new modem / router. I have a small - 1500 sf house and the wifi coverage is not acceptable even for a house this size. I'm actually going to pack it up and return it today after 30 days of dissatisfaction.

We are as trying to connect it but Comcast said this product is not going to work in our state.

The next model up gave 2x the download and was only $10 more.

Cannot use this modem when you also have a phone line so it did not serve my purposes.

I purchased this to replace my isp provided leased modem because I was experiencing heavy random lag. I tried a different modem on the same line with no lag so it had to be the modem I had. Anyways, I called tw hawaii and had it all setup. It workeed for less than 1 min before it wouldnt do anything. I know pc's mind you.. I build all my pc's myself. My current build is an i7 o/c at 4.3ghz liquid cooled with a 780ti and 16gb of ram running win 8.. anyways, I called tw twice about it and they couldnt figure it out. So I bought the other model just like this one which supposedly only handles like 160gb dl? Doesn't matter because I dont have a dl speed anything close to that.. which that model works perfectly! If your a hawaii resident and youre looking for a new modem, pass on this one. I told bestbuy and tw about this modem model not working and tw is looking into it.

Modem seems to only work with improved wire. Had to call Comcast to obtain.

It good device had a few of them n they never cash or I never had problems.

This project didn't work with my cable system. I had to return it.

OK, here is the deal. I bought a computer for my 79 yr old mom. That included a printer and some HP ink subscription. However, what I wasn't told is that the printer and the ink subscription requires WIFI. This modem does not have WIFI. I am about 500 miles from my Mom... no way to make this right.
