I purchased a arris-surfboard-docsis-3-0-high-speed-cable-modem-black - no issues very good modem I had the prior mode 2.0 for several years , the only reason I had to buy a new one is because Comcast is now using a 3.0 -

I would recommend this modem easy setup and speed is excellent!

I feared having to change out my old Sufmodem that I've had for about 10 years. I didn't want to change it out because of the painful experience I had when I switch to my own cable modem rather than renting one from Comcast. It took me about 2 hours that first time. I think they made that experience painful because they want you to rent their modems so it becomes a cash cow for them. However, they must have learned their lesson and the switchover was very easy so kudos Comcast, Xfinity or whatever your name is now. This modem works very well and even though it is not the higher spec'd modem. I would highly recommend purchasing this modem.

Swiched from DSL to Cable and need new modem. This hooked up with no problems and I get over the 50MBps so I'm happy. Pays for itself in about 8 months versus the cable company lease fees.

I've had the Motorola SB6121 Cable Modem at home for several years and am very pleased with its performance. Purchased this second unit plus a Netgear N900 wireless router to install at a friends house who was living with old slow Linksys equipment which was providing less than 10mps download speeds. My friend is very pleased with the upgrade.

I have comcast internet and they were charging me 10 dollars a month to rent there modem. So I decided it's time save money, so I went ahead and bought this one and it works great would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this modem to replace my xfinity rented modem/router 2in1, the xfinity one was very poor , it often got disconnected. This Arris Modem is very good, I have used it for over a year already, constantly on 24/7, still works like a charm. highly recommended.
