No problems with the modem. Have been using it for a month now and all seems to be well. This modem does not have a built in router and since we already had a router this was perfect for us. We did not want to pay the rental fees to rent this from our tv service provider so I definitely recommend this as an alternative.

The most important thing is that it works with comcast, and it does. Also compared to the other more expensive models, this version also supports Docsis 3.0. Wall adapter isn't as large as ones that come with older motorola modems and doesn't get hot.

Hooked it up, turned it on and it just works. Speed is ok, updates are seamless.

I was extremely frustrated with my Comcast Modem-Router combination and then i started looking around for better options. Came across this, read the reviews on the internet and also found that this Modem is recommended on Comcast Website Modems list and has the top certifications, works flawlessly with my New Router.

Easy to setup and the speed through my ISP is great

TWC install the cable drop, called in the mac address to TWC and the modem was up and usable in 15 minutes, and two reboot. It works well and so far no problems.

Was tired of paying $9.99 per month for modem rental with Comcast and did some online research and with the help of Best Buy associate made the purchase. He said that this lower cost modem would handle more speed than the 50mbs download we have and he was right. Works great and was a breeze to activate with Comcast.

There are more expensive modems, but this provides the highest throughput you can use in Colorado Springs. You will want to couple it with a high speed router for best results, but it is best to buy them separately as they function separately. An included cable (usually with both modem and router, you only need one) connects them. If you buy them together, you wouldn't save money, but you would need to replace them together since then they would be in the same physical package. Your cable modem can be anywhere your cable input gets to, but you want your router to be high and central in your house for best results. Note that when I was in Best Buy the salesman was recommending a more expensive model even though (perhaps he doesn't know) the differences have no impact under today's standards, and probably for the life of the modem. My research indicated this is the most widely recognized and used cable modem in the world for today's top standards. Your cable company will know exactly what you're talking about if you buy this modem rather than renting one from the cable company.

Basic cable modem, nothing too fancy but good speeds, also the retail version of what comcast tries to lease you. My only gripe is i cant have my wireless router too close to it, otherwise it gets very spotty, but kind of a non-issue, really.

I upgraded from an older Motorola modem to this one. Programming was easy. There was a noticable improvement in speed. I believe that was due to the increase in speed of the modem's ethernet connecton to my router. My router only supports up to 100 Mbits on the ethernet connection to the modem, but the old modem's ethernet only went to 10 Mbits. This new modem supports up to 1000Mbit ethernet. It's rated much faster on the cable side than my old one, but the old one was already fast enough (30 Mbit) to handle my existing cable data speed, so the benefit must have come from the faster communication with the router. I won't bother to get a faster router (1000Mbit) unless my cable connection gets faster.

Had to upgrade my modem because Xfinity upgraded and my other modem was a good several years old. This modem suits my needs. Since I'm not a gamer, I don't need all of the bells and whistles and this modem is perfect for me. The price is great as well. Set up was simple and I was up and running in no time.

Works like a charm and easy to set up. Had to call my IP to connect, but didn't take long. I was up and running in no time and haven't had any problems since purchasing over three months ago.

Bought this modem when I recently signed up for Comcast internet. Did a self instal. Modem easy to hook up and Comcast programmed what they need remotely with no intervention on my part. Speed is great up and down compared to my old ATT DSL.

This modem was smaller than I thought. making it easy to put up in small spaces. I have used Surfboard modems for over 10 years now. I will continue to because I have never had an issue with them.

This device does what it's supposed to and works well. My last modem was 10 years old and finally giving up the ghost. So I got this updated model and it works a little better with the internet service I have and provides faster access to the web.
