I was tired of paying the monthly fee for a modem, so I went and purchased this. Not only does it let me use my blazing fast connection without issue, but it seems to be even more reliable than the modem that I was leasing. Great purchase!

I purchased this modem to use with Comcast and it worked out great. It saves me $10 a month rental fee and works to give me the fastest internet connection from them. Even when trouble shooting, they are able to help me with this device. I recommended it to my cousin and it works great at her house as well.

set up was easy. no loss of signal so far. not bad for the price i got.

I've had this product for over three months now. I replaced the modem that I had through Comcast and my internet speed has slightly increased and connection has been far more stable. This is a great modem and worth the extra $$$.

I knew this was a good purchase when the XFinity tech said it was one of the best. Set up was easy, the speeds are fantastic, and the white color really stands out instead of the basic boring black. Buy it yourself at Best Buy and avoid the rental fees from your cable provider. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace the $7/month leased modem from Comcast and so far it's been great. Internet speed improved slightly (from ~28mbps to ~32mbps) and it will pay for itself in about 8 months. The only problem I have with this modem is the blinking blue lights. Since I have the modem in my entertainment unit, the blinking lights are distracting

I purchased the Motorola - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem as a replacement when my modem no longer worked, and have been pleased thus far. It works as described, and perhaps the best praise I can offer is that since I hooked it up, I have never thought about it since.

Seems to run okay. Easy to set up, no issues with this product.

Bright House suddenly decided to charge me modem rental fee. So went ahead and buy the device myself. Will have this paid off in 2 years which is nothing comparing to number of years I will be using cable internet. Obtained speed is awesome. Even got an additional MB when testing the download speed.

I got this one because Xfinity call me to update to Docsis 3.0, I found this one sold on amazon and asked BB to price match it. I have been using it for over 1 month, found an dramatic speed hike compared with my Docsis 2.0

This unit is exactly the same one as I had, rented monthly from Comcast. Replacing the rented modem was easy as far as the hookup was concerned. Activation was straight forward but did take a reasonable amount of phone time.

I thought the set-up time and speed to get connected was quick.

Good modem for fast speed connection (not for the fastest with a lot of devices). Works just fine, just what I need for 3 computers, 1 tablet and 2 smart-phone household (4 persons).

Delivers advertised download speeds and was easy to install.

after replacing my older surfboard modem from motorola that lasted for 13 years. i have brought this new version and it is faster than the older model. more data is being split into upload and download but in speed i am not worried since i cant afford higher speed from cox ( college student).

This modem has been working very well - no complaints. When I have to reset it it comes back up quickly. Saves on the money Comcast wanted to rent one. Best Buy salesman kept me at this price level as he said a faster modem wouldn't help as the signal from Comcast isn't that fast.

Bought this to save money off my comcast bill each month, fast download and upload speeds. Automatically detects on the computer and simply walks through the activation through the cable provider. Will pay for itself within 5 months of no more modem lease fees from comcast

Looked at online reviews, which were excellent, and this modem is on Comcast's compatible list. Have to honestly say the Comcast installer set this up and I have had no issues whatsoever which is why I gave this product 5 stars. Plus, this model costs less that the step-up model.
