This is a nice little Modem. I switched from AT&T Uverse to Comcast. I wanted to buy a modem out right rather than paying lease every month. Even the Comcast installer said that these are one of the best modems to use. I have been using it for over a month now , It works good.

Easy to set up, runs perfect. No issues at all. Increased my internet speed to my maximum allowable speed, per my agreement with my cable company. Works fine with Time Waner.

Very good value. Just hooked it up following easy instructions, turned it on, gave it a few minutes to boot up, and it's been working flawlessly ever since. This cable modem-only is less expensive than the modem-wifi combo and is a newer design, so I decided to go separate, allowing better choices for each. Be aware that the status lights are very bright and the activity light continuously flashes, but no big deal.

I have been paying $9 a month for forever to rent a modem when I was able to pick this one up for a good price and never have to pay it again. It was plug and play, removed the old one I was renting from the cable company and plugged this one right in. Highly recommended.

looks like the massive numbers of reviews were positive, and the gadget is on the affordable side of the curve. pays for itself in terms of comparison to the leasing option from the cable company. have had it for 1 month, and i expect no problems. simple but necessary

Motorola is one of the best when it comes to cable modems and this version has proven to be solid and reliable with adequate speeds using DOCSIS 3.0 tech and 4 bonded channels up and down allowing for speeds of up to 100Mbps. Modem rental from our cable company was $8/mo. In 10 months we will have paid for this modem in monthly savings. Had an older version of a motorola surfboard modem that served me well for over 4 years. I have no reason to think this newer version will be any different.

Motorola Modem was easy to set up and upgraded speed

Bought this to replace modem from comcast that I pay $10.00 a month. Its so easy to setup in less than 30 minuites. I called Comcast to provide new router name and pin number. I also returned my old modem so they wont bill me monthly anymore. I am very happy with it.

Most cable companies will charge you $8-10 a month to rent a modem for your high speed internet. For the value of this product, there is no reason to do that! It uses the most recent broadband technology, so should stay current for numerous years. Set up was very simple, and easy to activate with Comcast. After several months, reliability has not been an issue. One thing to keep in mind: this does not have a built in wireless capability, so you will need a separate wireless router.

This is so much better than my netgear modem that was only about a year old. At least three times faster and way more stable. No downtime since I purchased about a month and a half ago. For the price this is the cable modem if you're looking for fast and reliable.

Purchased to replace the cable modem I was leasing from Comcast. Works perfectly and I can get over 100Mbps download speeds. Pays for itself within the first year.

I switched internet service from Verizon to Comcast, and my concern was the impact this could have on my daily work. Then I decided buy my own modem instead to rent one from Comcast and the transfer has been transparent and a I feel the modem made my job in the internet fast and smooth including a very easy installation.

My old modem would download in mid 20 range and upload around 5 or so. This modem got me to 55plus and 6 plus, respectively. I did not call cable company to increase my bandwidth. This modem all by itself got me the increase. Totally worth the money. I'm impressed.

After looking through reviews, I chose this modem. It has not reminded me of it's existance since it has been plugged in, just the way I like this type of device to treat me! Plug it in and your done...

I already had one of these and needed another one for a friend's apartment. having had used one previously, it was a no brainer getting this unless i found a better cheaper option, which i didn't.

I upgrade to this Motorola Surfboard modem to replace a Mototola modem that was 6 years old and I ran speed tests and the upload and downloads speeds doubled, to 20 Mps which was beyond my expectations.

Modem works as it should, no drop outs. Compatible with my provider and set up was easy. Saves from having to rent from the cable company, well worth it.

This works as I expected it to. Easy to set up, handles all the bandwidth Xfinity (Comcast) has to offer, and was cheaper than many alternatives. A bonus is that the lights are unobtrusive, unlike some others that look like they belong on an airport runway.
