A good modem just does its job. It is your interface to the cable company. You should not know it is there. It allows you to save the 5-10 dollars a month you would normally pay them (as if you don't pay them enough?). This modem works great.

Great speed, easy to install, had a small space to fit into and this worked well.

Bought this modem to replace rental from cable company because lease prices went up. It is updated version of modem they offered. Very easy setup, no issues at all so far (have owned for 6 weeks). Will update if issues arise, none expected.

This was a great buy, we were using a rental modem from our internet provider and I bought this one so we would pay less on our monthly statement. Since we've been using it, not only have we saved monthly, but our I ternet speed has increased noticeability. Well worth the money!!!

Connected Power, Connected coax cable, gave my cable company my MAC address and everything worked like a charm. No problems whatsoever. As long as the top speed that this thing can crank out is acceptable to you, this is a great buy.

This is a very good modem for the price. I have a fast speed connection and have always received max speed using this modem. Others supporting 100mbps plus speeds are far too expensive and can provide equal performance at best...

I bought this cable modem since it seems a solid basic unit. I don't believe in all-in-one units with routers built into them. I would be asking for trouble. I followed the colored guide included and I was up and ready within 30 minutes.

I had read that this modem was a nightmare to hook up if Comcast is your internet provider but the price was too good to pass up. I called Comcast to set up the modem and in no time at all I was up and running without any problems.

I have TWC and was looking for a compatible modem that was reasonably priced. This had easy setup and is working great. It also works with the D-Link router I already had.

easy to install. I was worried about how difficult it would be. Time Warner has a write-up on how to add your own modem. Saves me $ 10 per month, payback in less than 5 months. Had to buy a 1 to 4 cable signal splitter.

So far does the job (1 month mark) despite Comcast taking a week to "register" this modem. Way cheaper than buying or renting theirs!

Was tired of paying a monthly fee to lease a modem from Time Warner, so bought this one. Easy to install and get activated. Will pay for itself in less than a year! Highly recommend to anyone with Time Warner Cable internet.

I was advised by my internet provider to get this router as a replacement for theirs so I didn't have to pay a monthly fee . We've had it for approximately 2 weeks now and are very satisfied with the speed it provides.

Works great, replaced my Comcast rental, so it will pay for itself soon. Was a little challenging to set up on my own w/Comcast (Comcast fault, not modem). After hanging up in frustration with Comcast, I pushed a button on the modem that reset it. All worked fine from then on.
