I purchased this modem to replace my leased modem in Florida with Comcast cable service. Modem is working flawlessly, and I no longer have to pay a monthly lease fee for Comcast cable modem, Would definitely recommend.

Overall this modem is pretty basic but that is what's good about it. It provides just the basics of what you need to have an internet connection. Pairing this with a wireless router will make the process a lot easier!

Bought this modem recently. I use COX internet. It works well. Just had to call the internet company for provisioning the modem. It started working immediately. Very easy to setup and very fast too. No glitches so far.

Had to upgrade modems when internet service was upgraded. Got this modem and works as described. A lightening surge knocked it out so I took it to best buy and they replaced it for a few bucks because I had the protection plan. It's what you would expect from a modem.

I have had the modem for about 2 months and have had no issues with it. I work for charter communications and this modem is commonly used for us with no problems.

This is an awesome modem. I have several friends that use this exact modem and love it. I was a small challenge to set up, but I have had no problems since setup.

Discovered by chance that my constant HS Internet issues were directly related to an older modem which was un able to handle the high speed traffic. Although I had asked several times I was usually told the modem was ok. Chance meaning after many trouble calls to cable company for internet issues I happened to reach someone who actually new what they were doing. Have had no issues since installing this newer device. No more reloading of streaming videos in particular.This is a good product at an affordable price.

I've changed my Internet connection for a faster, so my IPS sent me a letter suggesting me to change my modem so I can get a better service. I chose Motorola Surfboard docsis 3.0 and it works just fine. Self installation and I was ready to connect to Internet.

I switched from a modem/router as supplied by Xfinity (at $10/month). This new modem, and a new stand alone router are doing the job. (I actually had to swap out the rented combo unit twice prior to my purchase)!

I got this modem because I needed to upgrade from DOCSIS 2 and it was highly recommended on the Comcast website. This modem was super easy to install. I just swapped it with the old modem and it started working.

I bought it to use for Comcast. I checked Amazon and BestBuy web site to find the cable modem has good rating and cheap. I have Apple Time Capsule and use it for wireless AP so I want to buy a simple cable modem. When I opened the box, I was surprised that the modem was light and looks not good, I thought the cost to produce this was much less than I pait to buy it, but it was easy to install and use. Performance was good, no complaint. If you find a non-wireless cable modem, this would be a good choice.

Got it for a good price needed a modem and didn't want to spend alot. I have 25 Mbps internet and usually get around 15 to 20 works fast enough for my needs, gaming streaming browsing. Happy with purchase

Easy to install. It was one of the recommended modems of Comcast. I bought it since it was low priced and way better than paying $10/mo to lease from Comcast.

stop paying comcast's 10 dollar a month fee. This thing pays for itself in less than a year, and makes sure you're getting the advertised speeds from comcast

Plug it in. Call you cable company to give them the unit ID. You are off and running fast, saving the monthly charge of modem rental. Payout is about 8 months.
