I went by the earlier reviews and I am thankful now, as I have made a good choice. Works great with the Netgear WNR2000v4, just in case if anyone wants to know if they pair well. Comcast compatible.

Good replacement

It works well with our system and is easy to read. Also, when I realized I needed to replace my modem, I called the Motorola company and they were very helpful.

Fantastic Modem for Xfinity

Swapped it for the less expensive 6121 and it works great. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stop paying a monthly modem rental fee from Comcast!

The set-up is simple, it is good size and has clear lights to indicate good connectivity. I would recommend it to anyone tired of paying to rent a modem. For a 2 year contract you pay about $200 to rent, when you can buy it for half the price.
