Do yourself a favor...get one!

It will soon pay for itself by avoiding the Comcast lease fee. No problems whatsoever! Only minor hassle was calling Comcast support to give them the new info from the new device. Throughput is great!

A Hardworking DOCSIS Cable Modem

I've had both this one and the previous generation Surfboard and they've both been totally reliable and easy to forget about as they always work. The only times I've had to reboot them is when Comcast has upgraded the connection speeds.

Problems Solved
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We just could not get the Comcast modem/router to reach my son's bedroom in the back of the house no matter what we did. It was causing so many problems and I was always getting bumped off my laptop while trying to work from home. The purchase of this modem along with a new router has all solved all of these problems.

It was so easy to connect and once it was connected i was very happy it connected to my cable so fast i couldn't believe it. Thank you
