Chances are its comcast or time warner. I have a "choice" between the two and now that they're the same, choosing the right isp provider is now easier than ever. This device is compatible with TWC. You can connect it to a more powerful router if you have a large area to cover with many devices, or live in a nuclear bunker with lead-lined drywall. It does its job, which is to bring internet into your home. It wont fix a bad connection due to servicer issues.

Great modem for the price

We have multiple devices connected to the internet and I haven't had no problems with this modem connecting to the internet. Very satisfied with my purchase. Is better to spend the money on the modem than pay a monthly fee to the cable company.

It does the job with minimal hassle, with only occasional issues in the connection mostly related to using 2 or more devices simultaneously.

Solid modem

Eliminated the need to rent one from the cable company, which has been great. Very happy with the purchase (although one with a built in router would have been a wise investment, too).
