Didn't want to but had to...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't want to buy another modem but I bought one of the old cisco DOCSIS modems for 20 bucks on e-bay yeah it worked for a bit but kept dropping the signal. So I went out and bought this I'm pleased to say my signal has never dropped and I maintain a constant 90+ Mbps on a paid 50 Mbps line.

Easy to set up

It seems to have made the Internet on my computer run a little faster, but all the other devices I have are running the same. I didn't really see a noticeable difference in speed. But the price was not bad, so it's ok.

Excellent modem

The Motorola Surfboard accommodates higher internet speeds than our previous modem, all at a very reasonable price. It was also recommended by Comcast, our cable provider.
