I purchased this modem rather than rent equipment from Comcast. Their technician said it was as good or better than what they would supply. He did tell me that I needed a new high speed router to get better wi-fi performance.

I was having problems with my cable tv and slow internet and the repairman said I needed anew upgrade. He suggested that I go to Best Buy and told me what to purchase.

I bought this to get better speeds and it did the job. I'm close to the end of my 2-year warranty and I'm going to send it in because I've had to reset it often the last few months. A reset always fixes the problem.

I have 50 Mbps internet service provider and this modem has been capable of handling that amount of data and speed. The price for it is probably the best deal out there.

Very easy set up. Needed the new router & modem for Time Warner internet set up for computer & Roku. Used about a month & so far so good.

The modem works great, looks great and I already saw the difference in my Comcast bill. It was a great feeling walking into the Infinity store and handing them their $10 a month modem. Six more months and the modem is FREE!

I purchased this modem for my mother-in-law who was setting up cable internet service with Comcast in her apartment. Buying this modem made much more sense than paying Comcast $8 a month for a rental modem that would likely not be in great condition. The modem performed as expected, and has been very reliable. This modem does not have the standby button like some of the older Motorola modems, but I never used that feature anyway. I set up the modem with a wireless router for my mother-in-law, and she has been happy with it.

I was having internet connection problems at home. My service provider denied it being their problem and suggested it was the laptop. After several days of back and forth denials and still no connection i was told to get a new modem. So I researched online and decided on the Motorola. Took it home , hooked it up and all the lights came on but i still had no internet connection. Turned out I needed a new router as well but I'm glad i bought the motorola modem because it performs faster then the previous one I had .

I researched product online prior to purchase and was not disappointed. It performs well, has a great battery life. A great value .

I strongly dislike the modem/router combos that most ISP's distribute to their customers. This serves as a satisfactory replacement providing merely modem capabilities and letting my Airport Extreme handle the routing.

Purchased the Motorola Modem after Cox Cable wanted to charge me $10 a month for their outdated one or purchase theirs for $89. Consumer Reports gave great reviews, compatible with Cox, price was $69 (online- price match in store :) Seems to work fine, no glitches, I'm not aware that anything is any faster (remember it's Cox)..son hasn't complained while gaming it. So I give a thumbs up. Customer service at Best Buy was great too, sales associate was super efficient and gave me the price match for the Modem.

I bought this with the intent of just saving myself $8 a month with my internet company. I currently have my Blu-Ray attached to it through an Ethernet cable. That works great! However, internet on my phone and laptop are very slow from the wireless perspective.

Exactly what I needed to set up my new service with Comcast. It's well reviewed, works exactly as it is supposed to, and satisfies the DOCSIS 3 requirements for major companies like Comcast. Don't rent old, used hardware when you can get your own and take it with you.

This Moden is excellent an simple to use. And it makes your cable internet connection faster. I will recommend this to everyone.

I purchased this modem to replace a rental. Had I known the install was so simple I would have purchased one sooner. It will pay for itself many times over from the dollars saved by not renting from my internet supplier.

I think this product is one of the most easy to install with the best bang for the buck. I have no loss of internet speed at all.

Modem works great. No issues. My internet was getting slow and the movies I'd download from Netflix were poor quality. This modem fixed those issues. If you're still using the old style Comcast modem upgrade to this one.

This modem is very easy to install and use. The price of the modem is very affordable for the speed. I very highly recommend it.
