For some reason the first time I purchased this model modem months ago, Comcast couldn't get it to work. Un-authorizing, re-authorizing old modem, returning to store was a hassle. This time, pricing, installation, authorization and installation overall took just a few minutes and has worked great.

Bad Modem, Internet Disconnects

After buying this modem and setting it up I was very please with the new download speed with increased by 1-2 MBPS but in return the upload speed dropped by 5 MBPS which, I did not mind as long as I got rid of the rental Modem. After having it for one day I notice disconnections every few hours which messes me up really badly when I am gaming. Before I had replaced this new modem I had flawless internet with the old modem which I gladly enjoyed but disliked the rental fee. Overall I am planning to replace this unit for a new one and hope the problem gets fixed.
