I have to reset it once every few weeks, but otherwise it works great. Fine for a lower end model.

I've owned my Motorola - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem for almost a year and have never had any problems with it. That is the reason why I bought another one exactly like it for a friend and it is working great. No problems at all.

Our old modem we were leasing from comcast xfinity crapped out so we had to buy a new one. The price attracted us to this item. We've been running it out of our home for about 6 wks now and have had no issues. The ease of installation wasn't so great but I think that was mostly on Comcast's end since it wasn't one of their products. Other than that all is good.

Does exactly what the box says it does! I researched online for several weeks before picking this model.

Modem works well. But think it would be better if there was two Ethernet ports in the back.

most ISPs are still limited in their speed offerings, however if you have an ISP offering greater than 167MBps you need a modem faster than this one. If you are limited in speed like 50Mbps or less than this modem will more than do the job for you and is Motorola so the quality is great. Works well with Apple products, i.e. Airport Extreme.

Easy install, high through put, works well in a Comcast environment.

Really easy to setup on my end. But it took a bit for the cable company to recognize the equipment. My internet is finally running like it's supposed to now.

Seemed like good modem but could not connect. Seems like there was problem with Comcast. . Replaced with a Belkin which is doing great..

So as far as modems go this is one of the better ones that you can get. I love recommending Motorola products because they hold up better than many other products, and if you are wondering the difference between this and the newer model then the difference is that the new model supports more down and up bandwidth, but this one still supports over 100 Mbps so for nearly anyone it should not be a major concern. It does not seem to be bad about dropping signal like some other modems use to be plagued by, and it supports a gigabit ethernet so if you have a higher end router then you can take full advantage of the 10/100/1000 ports that are on it. My only complaint is that despite having these ports the ethernet cable that is supplied with the modem is only capable of 10/100 as it is a CAT5e cable, but unless you have more than 100 mbps of bandwidth it should not be a issue at all, and is only a issue for those that are looking to future-proof. Also on a unrelated note the device is actually quite small and it might surprise you.

The device works right out the box and was compatible with my provider. However the device drops internet connection occasionally.

I also own a SB/Arris but for most this one will do everything you need and support Comcast Blast.

Easy to set up and connect. Works very well throughout the house.

It's small and compact. Slap it in the wall and forget about it. Strong signal and great for anywhere

replaced the modem I was renting from my cable company and have been pleasantly pleased so far.

modem hasnt lagged or cut off since I purchased it. It is newer technology, I have no complaints.

I replaced this modem to upgrade my old one since Cox Cable suggested it. Set up was very easy, but you do have to call your internet provider in order to have it recognized by them. Very satisfied with it, no problems whatsover
