Still a reliable workhorse of a modem. Motorola keeps trying to reinvent the wheel after this one, but it is still more reliable and just as fast as even some of the newer ones they have released, as well as any competing brands.

I needed to purchase a more powerful modem. The clerk was very helpful and made the decision easier.

My husband and I purchased this modem b/c we had not been getting the download speeds we were paying for through our internet provider with our old modem. Set up was a breeze and our speeds are much better now. We are finally getting the correct speeds for the internet package we are paying for!

Got this to replace my outdated modem as well as reduce my monthly internet bill by $7.00 from my local cable COMpany. Works great and only required a phone call to their customer service to switch from my old modem to this new one.

Plug and play with Comcast. Now I don't have to rent by the month from them, or host their hotspot.

This is the standard in consumer cable modems because it is accepted by all the major cable internet service providers. CenturyLink, Cox, Comcast, Optimum, TimeWarner all accept this modem for use. It's easy to set up, is DOCSIS 3.0(handles over 30MB service) compliant, and small in size.

Work great. Increased internet speed. It was reasonably priced.

The router works well but it was a little difficult to set up. We have Qwest so we had to call to get our DSL username and password.

So far so good! No problems -- it worked right out of the box.

I bought the Motorola-SURFboard docsis 3.0 high speed cable modem in black. It was very easy to connect. Definitely a good buy

The ease to install this modem with my cable internet provider was great. I was able to plug the unit in and it negotiated with the provider in the area just like I was told and received the providers activation page; and activation was simple. However, modem has no customization ability for advanced users. this is bare bones and I bought it expecting it would be. I hooked this unit up to my Apple AirPort Extreme and all was perfect except the modem keeps dropping the provisioning and I have to reset it back up from scratch like a new activation... provider says it is the modem and the tech line for moto says prob not modem but try replacing it anyway... will be taking back to swap for replacement. This incident happens every couple of days, but when works it is great. I have a 25 MB Down 5 MB Up circuit and speed test show I get every packet paid for :) Not recommending this as of yet until I determine the modem issue, cable provider or modem malfunction.

Works fine with Xfinity Internet. Easy plug and play setup.

I'm very pleased with this cable modem. It allowed me to turn in my leased modem to the cable company and save $5.99 per month. It paid for itself in six months. This is also a far better modem than the one I had and is capable of faster speeds that are available through your provider.

Works great. Bought the apple extreme tower router as well. Excellent internet connection.
