This product was very easy and quick to install - just plug in and it works. However, if you use cable, don't forget to notify the cable company even if it works as it may give you trouble later without cable company registration.

Product is easy to bring online, even with an external router (Netscape 300). Had to contact my Internet Service Provider, TW, to have the modem "identified" on the provider's network. Once done, the modem has worked flawlessly.

After my old modem took a dump on me, I headed to Best Buy to find a new one. After comparing the different ones and discussing the differences with an associate, he recommended this one for what I needed and couldn't be happier.

Straight forward to set up, reasonable performance and price.

This is a great way to knock $7-8 dollars off of your monthly cable bill and pays for itself after 10 months. Very easy to install and after the simple installation, call your cable provider to switch to the new modem. Easy as that

This item works as described. I only wish is that it was smaller and a tad but more powerful

Didn't want to lease a modem from comcast, so I went with this option. Couldn't be happier. Have had great internet speed for 3 months now.

Got this to replace an older modem in hopes of increasing connectivity speed and reliability. After 2+ months, I can say yes, it's better than the 5 yr old modem it replaced, but still suffer from some connectivity issues. When the repair man from C**cast was out for my cable issue, he said this model does not have the most current settings needed for optimal performance, and is more difficult to re-set than some other types. So, top of the line, it's not. Better than an old one, it is. Reasonable performance for the price - probably. If you're on a budget and not a serious gamer, this is an acceptable choice.
