Cox advised I needed a newer and faster modem, this one is doing the trick at a very good price. Was not going to pay a monthly fee to cox, this is much better.

I saw this item on sale and needed a new modem because I was moving. It works with our Comcast Internet. It's pretty fast and reliable, Comcast not so much.

The Motorola SURFboard is really fast and has a really sleek, modern look to it. It is very compact and can fit almost anywhere.

Easy to hook up. And it works slightly faster than my previous modem, which Time Warner Cable had provided. I'd give it five stars if it were a little cheaper.

This cable modem was purchased as a replacement for a rental. It was simple to install and connect. Speed is as described.

The motorola modem was easy to set up and has worked great since we have set it up. No disconnects or internet issues.

I really enjoyed this product, it functions correctly and as it advertised is fully Comcast compatible. I had a small issues that the mounting holes are only on one side so in order for me to hang it on the wall right now I now have the panel facing the wrong direction. I was also a little disappointed with the length of a power cord. However I imagine that the length is enough for most situations

every once in a while I have to reboot to clear some issue, but it is fast and does not result in signal loss. Easy to set up and easy to get working quickly.

Users with a high speed cable broadband subscription (20mbps+) will need this or a similar modem to take full advantage of the high data rates of these cable internet plans. This modem seems to be one of the most widely supported and reliable DOCSIS 3.0 modems currently available at a reasonable price. Since cable modem rental fees can easily reach $84+/year, over time, buying your own modem can actually save you money. The only downside is, depending on your provider, cable modem setup can be a onerous process - you have to get the modem authorized on your account and that means dealing with customer service. But, when your household has people playing XBOX, watching Hulu plus and browsing the web all at the same time with no-one complaining about slowness... it's all worth it in the end.

This is a great modem and well worth the money. The modem is fast, stable, and works well. Of course, it also depends upon your service, but this modem is a good modem. One warning: If you do not have an Ethernet port, you cannot use this modem as it does NOT have an USB port. You must have an Ethernet port to use this modem. Other than that, it's a great product and well worth the money!

At first this modem feels cheap because it's light, but it's working perfectly now for over a month. Comcast decided to start charging us $10 a month just for the use of their modem which they originally told me I had to have and wouldn't be charged for. We returned it and use this modem. Our "Blast" internet works better now than it did with their own equipment. This is a great buy!

I needed a fast modem for streaming and gaming. This fits the bill. Relatively small yet has all the horsepower to deliver results. Easy setup and off we go.

So recently I finally came to the realization that the Internet speeds I was paying for with AT&T were quite lacking to say the least. Not only that, I was paying for their equipment. I started researching options and landed on buying my own equipment and switching to a company that is cool with that. After reading many reviews about modems, I finally landed on the Motorola Arris Surfboard. The ease up set up alone was worth the price, but also I'm finally getting speeds that allow me to browse the web and game online without issue. Definitely worth the buy!

I got this product so I could get xfinity Internet without paying their associated rental costs and it works well. I had minor difficulties when I first tried to use it. The xfinity rep talked me through it. If you buy this product, make sure to also purchase a cable cord to go with it.

This is a good modem to purchase. Has a stable connection and i'm constantly getting 100mbps down and 20 upload. Best part, no monthly fees from your ISP.

Easy to install. Works well, no issues so far. I like how it is a small size and does not take up too much space.

I recently switched from a dial-up internet provider to Comcast cable and did not want to lease or rent a cable modem from Comcast. After doing some research and looking at some reviews, I decided to go with this Motorola SB6121. This model was on the Comcast approved list. I went to the local Comcast service center and obtained their free self-installation internet package. I disconnected the cable connection from the back of the DTA (Digital Transport Adapter) box that was connected to the TV, and I inserted the cable end into the T connector that was in the self-install kit. I then ran one jumper cable from the T connector to the terminal on the DTA box from which I disconnected the cable and ran the other jumper cable from the T connector to the Motorola SB6121 cable modem. After I hooked up the electrical power to the SB6121, I connected the Ethernet cable that was included with the SB6121 between the SB6121 and the computer. And that was it. And thank God by His Grace everything worked. I have been using it for about a month now and everything is working fine. For the way I use the computer, this SB6121 modem is just great and I would recommend it. I did purchase the 2 year insurance Best Buy had on the modem and the total cost was still less than $100.00. There was no installation fee and no activation fee in getting on line and I am very happy. Praise the Lord.

Do not pay Time Warner rent, buy your on. easy installation, works very well.
