This unit is a plug and play. No experience required setting up this modem. works well with xfinity service.

Replaced my Greendale WI TWC modem with this unit. Used the TWC internet chat function to install - gave then the ID number and was up and running fairly quickly. Note the process to switch over if you have bundled phone service is more difficult. I was also having trouble recycling my old modem every other day. Returned the TWC modem to them and saves me about $5 a month. I did not see an increase in speeds. I have about 12 Wi-Fi devices running at any one time.

I bought this to replace the standard modem that the cable company provided. Once I swapped it out I noticed a slight increase in my internet speed and my streaming went from good to great.

The modem ended up working after multiple calls to Comcast and the Motorola help line. At first, Comcast told me the modem was defective and I should return it. I tried, 28 days after I bought it and Best Buy told me that I had to have returned it within 15 days even though I was being told it was defective. I will never buy from Best Buy again as this has to be one of the worst return policies. I tried again and got someone at Motorola who could help with the product. After a few hours of work, I got the modem working and everything is fine now. I would not recommend as it was way too complicated. More importantly, on the service question, Best Buy has lost me as a customer.

Comcast's awful business practices are the only reason I had to purchase this modem to replace my previous Motorola modem. The modem works great.

The router works great and let's me see easily how many systems I have connected. I can even use my phone to keep track of the systems connected.

It's exactly the router for my needs. The best buy rep was right on. Have not had a single issue with it. And it's supported by comcast (so far )

I purchased this so I don't have to pay the monthly Comcast fee for the modem. It is working fine for me. I am happy with this product.

I was happy with the purchase of this Motorola product and thought it would provide exactly what I was looking for. The equipment was easy to set up

We have always loved the Motorola modems, and this one is no exception. Modem works great. Easy setup. No problems after a month+ of using it.

This is a cost effective and most reliable modem and meets & exceeds Xfinity's standards for 3rd party modem compatibility for their network.

The only problem I've had with this modem is trying to get Comcast to acknowledge that the problem is with their service and not my modem. It worked perfectly for about 2 months and then my service went out after a big storm.

bought this to use with my comcast xfinity internet. better than what xfinity was offering and pays for itself in less than a year. such a deal!

I opted to buy a Modem instead of renting one from Mediacom. I haven't had any issues with it so far. I use it with a wireless router in my home.

I have had this modem for about a month and have had almost no problems. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a cable modem without the high price. I did a have a couple of connection issues during the first couple of days, but have had no problems since. I'm not sure if it was the modem or an issue with Comcast.

Very easy set up I use with twc and easy to convert to and get going. Wish I had bought years ago would've saved hundreds over the years!!'

My cable company used to charge me $6 monthly to rent the same modem. It is a good value and has already paid for itself in rental savings.

Did not work well with my Mac and AirPlay. Took a while to set up. Limited connections in back made it impossible to have phone and AirPlay jack connected. Works fine now but would get a different router after painful set up

Replaced old modem that was dropping and had slower speeds with this and have had no problems since.

Connecting this modem was as simple as 1-2-3. My internet provider agreed this is one of the better, more powerful, and less costly modems.
