About once every week or two I have to reset it because the wifi signal is lost. Very annoying. Last time I try to buy a 2 in 1 product like this.

Beware Bought this thinking that I was making a big difference in my Xfinity experience. Here I am 5 days out of my return period from Best Buy and this thing has been consistantly disconnecting my internet service. It makes my old router that I unfortunately trashed look pretty good.... save your money !!!!!

Could not change the password or the router name on Wi-Fi asked me to return it to be without a system for one whole week overly priced for so many issues. Very disappointed with the 14 day return policy as I bought it went on vacation like an idiot look out.

I have xfinity 1200mbps plan. Yet ive been dealing with connection issues with this device for over a year. My speeds average out to 500mbps on laptops and my gaming devices. On my phones we get max 145mbps. The modem states it can handle speeds over what my plan offers and ive talked with customer service at best buy before purchasing.

Product os trash nothing but frequent network drop out with Cox Services. Wont even hold a decent connection to hardwired components. No firmware update. This is a known issue that Arris will not address.

I bought a Netgear combination modem-router that for some reason Suddenlink couldn't get to work, so I tried this thing next, thinking that there's no way it's *that* bad. It was. So very, very bad. Couldn't get a wifi signal past our living room. Complete junk, returned in two days.

This Surfboard model did not provide reliable wireless internet service to any of my cell phones or computers within my home - even when they were in the same room as the router. It may have been a defective unit. I'll never know. Best Buy was great about allowing me to return the unit. No questions asked. In the end, I purchased a different Surfboard model that also included electrical jack outputs for my home phone.

For starters the mobile app software is outdated and continues to give you errors when you try to use it. this is a known issue Second when you call tech-support they advise you that the modem only support 3 to 6 wifi devices at a time. my alarm system has 16 cameras two laptops and three computers plus Alexa so very often devices are connected with no Internet traffic. Software updates are not available to end users only buy your cable company when they are released. Comcast has no fix. Will return mine

Worst modem EVER. Won't keep a connection and it stopped working 2 weeks after the return date expired so I'm out of luck for a very expensive modem I can't do anything with. Thanks for nothing Best Buy.

It’s keep resisting it self after one week working.Returns done

I had nothing but problems from day 1. Unit get extremely hot, and quits working. Wifi goes on and off every 2 hours or so. The app worked 50 percent of the time. Switched to cable providers gateway, and everything is running fine. Disappointed that I can not return this.

Have to reset at least once a week to access internet. The app is crap and has several bad reviews. I feel like I downgraded from my netgear setup when I went with this package. It’s been horrible. Have had the cable company out so many times and every time it comes down to having to reset this junky modem/router. Only way I can access the app is to delete it, reinstall it so I can log in. Worst purchase ever!

Terrible. legit had to unplug this every other day or i just have constant lag spikes every 10 seconds while gaming. all i play is runescape and cod and im hardwired. scammed for 250 so sadge

Constantly dropping wifi signal and needing to be restarted no device in my house ever stays connected. For its price i would expect much higher efficiency and productivity.

Since I purchased this modem/router its been nothing but a nightmare, From dropping WiFi and not only dropping the WiFi but it also disconnects 100% the internet and for some odd reason it reboots without me unplugging it. It does this 3-6 times a day .. NOPE I will never buy another one or recommend it to anyone ..

Alright router not compatible with xfinity- not easy to hook up

I purchased this because I up'd the speed on my internet. However, this router has failed me many times. My old router was way cheaper and worked way better.

The 2.4 channel didn't work. This is unacceptable.

Unit was not able to cover entire condo in turn of century building with brick walls. Had dead zones and calls dropped. Needed a mash unit.

Was told this would work with frontier fios. It actually doesn’t. It was the only one it didn’t work with.
