Do not purchase this modem. It worked fine for the first 2 weeks but now my internet drops frequently or has a very slow connection. I work from home and I have to bank on if my signal is good that day to get work done.

Tried for weeks to improve the wiring in the house since I could never get more than 100 MB’s from my 1 gig service. It took 3 weeks to get Comcast out to trouble shoot only to find out the Surfboard was bad. To add insult to injury Best Buy would only give me a store credit when there was no way to determine the unit they sold me was defective in that time frame. Customer service like that is why everyone is flocking to Amazon. Including me now

Would not connect to the internet despite Xfinity trying 2x remotely to activate and technician coming to the house to attempt same. Xfinity tech installed their own modem and worked immediately.

Had issue with my wifi router,went getting a better covered area this one made the job no extra extendable for the basement. I really recommend it.

I had my internet go out due to an outage. When Cox got my service internet service back, my old modem didn’t work. Went to Best Buy and bought this. The Cox technician couldn’t get this modem to work. They even sent a second technician and still no go. Then they took a modem from their service vehicle, my internet service worked. I wish I could have gotten this to work especially with the great reviews.

Expect this modem like all Arris products to fail after only a year or so usage.

We are not able to use this for internet which is the reason it was purchased. They would not refund my money due to a 15 day return policy that I was not aware of. We took the advice of a sales person that did not know what they were talking about.

My Wi-Fi is slower than before. I get less than half of the upload and download speeds I did when I had the xfinity router. The range is also poor and only works in the rooms adjacent to the router

Never worked right. First i noticed the wifi light never came on then the wifi would barely work. It would come on and off and nothing would reconnect. Hopefully i can return it because its after the 16 days which i though was a 30 day return

I found this produce not only lacking the phone jack, but performing much much slower than the xfinity product. And this was after finally getting the tech help from Arris to log on and walk through the entire connection process. Finally after three months, gave up and rented the product from Comcast, and what a difference. My speed is so much better, sorry I wasted $ 299 plus tax and three months of misery.

Very disappointed - modem is very slow; does not deliver even close to what is advertised. Brand new unit, set up properly. (And even worse, Best Buy won't take a return on a malfunctioning unit, even if you have a Totaltech Membership.)

I purchased this to replace my Comcast modem/router and thought it was a good choice because it’s say it can handle my download speed of 1000+mbps. After install and double checking with my provider that everything was working correctly I ran a speed test that was substantially slower then the Comcast modem/router by half the speeds and more!! Returned it next day.

My internet has been dropping since I bought this thing. I've been really busy so I just recently got the time to have cox out. I just had cox out and they say it's the modem after testing everything else.

Terrible , After talking to tech support they recommended me returning this product . I do not recommend this product .

I didn't set it up yet, I may need some help on doing so. Can't rate how it works at this moment.

Has the power I need to get great reception I also appreciate the help the clerk gave me to make my purchase

Not good quality still have problems with streaming and tv freezes

Does not work in older homes build in 1940s, 1950s or 1960s.

Did not serve my purpose could not connect to my alarm system took back got a Netgear Nighthawk

Easy to set up but slow and not what I was looking for. I returned it and got a Nighthawk.
