Great speed difference between this and old one, went to 25 Mbps with Comcasts performance package and a cheap belkin wireless receiver

Although the hurricane did not hit Florida we had a number of power outages and this modem/router performed extremely well, and have not had a problem with it since the date it was purchased and installed.

Paid for itself after 1.5 years due to the rental cost from Comcast. No issues, great range. Compatible with the 5 ghz frequency of new pc and smartphones.

Very good router modem! Easy to set up except the default password to set up your network was wrong in the manual that came in the package so I had to use the electronic manual

Best option available and way better than your cable providers modem/router combo. My PS4 is hard wired and I averaged twice faster download speed on this modem. I would say it's a worthy investment.

Easy set up, seems to have sped up my internet and I seem to have fewer crashes. Highly recommend. A bit pricey, but I think you get what you pay for.

I purchased this gateway to replace the one supplied by Comcast. Day one, faster, period. Went from 30megs at the hub to over 75megs. WiFi up to 50megs from 15-25. Great product, very customizable.

This item could've earned 5 stars from me if it would perform as promised on the outside of the box with my ISP. Motorola claims this modem to reach 300Mbps!!! I tested at Speedtest.net using ethernet cable, I can only get 90-95Mbps at 3am. Called TimeWarner's tech support, a techie said this particular model can only get 100Mbps on their service!!! For years, I've had intermittent and weak wi-fi service from WOW, from whom I was renting a modem. Everytime I asked for help, they blamed my router (I tried 3 different ones) and my computer (tried 3 different computers as well). I finally decided to provide my own modem to see if it made a difference and I purchased this bad boy. Problem solved! This surfboard extreme also has a router built in but I haven't set it up yet. So far, I highly recommend this item. Was pricy but worth it to me. Hey, who can get by without a solid wi-fi signal?

This modem really works good, but only the price.. Hopefully its gonna be a reliable one.. Got it for almost a month now

I purchased the Surfboard extreme 802.11ac to use in my home office and maximize the available speed my ISP has me on. WOW! I frequently get speeds in excess of what my ISP has me hooked up on

good signal and the price is perfect so after that i do not need to pay no more rent for the modem every month with my internet provider the one it is so expensive

This is the best modem router I have used yet. The only challenge I had was the instruction manual gave the wrong password and I had to call the manufacturer to get the correct default password

Talked with customer service person. He showed several options brands and for my needs the Motorola worked well. Self installed in about ten minutes and haven't had to touch it since then.

All I need to say is that for me it's been working great I know there is always a product that just does not work well with some one else, but with me its great that's all I have to say

I have been using it for a month with no problems whatsoever, the reviews I read were very accurate.

The setup was easy, truly plug and play and the speed is so much faster that my old broadband. The only issue so far is that periodically, the modem will drop the signal although it shows as still being connected. Power off/on will fix this. Not sure if it needs an update but other than that it's working fine for me.

We switched from ATT to Xfinity for home internet service. This device was recommended by Xfinity employee. It has been over 2 months now, works great. No special attention needed.

This is a great product. It is very easy to install and I have had no problems with it. In my opinion the best choice for a modem/router!
