Previously had a modem on lease from comcast until I realized I was paying $8/month just to use their modem. This modem is a major upgrade from what I had from comcast. Totally worth the extra money for the built in router. I was able to get rid of my old router. The product is working excellent.

Went through a ton of resource but finally got a good best buy rep to support my conclusions. Rep price match and it was a no brainier to pull the trigger. Very good and easy decision to go with Best Buy. Thanks Best buy in Riverside IL for having a rep with a solid knowledge base of the product.

just moved in to a three story house in Newport - switching to a new cable provider. The model was a simple to install, works like a champ and the wifi range extends throughout the whole house.

For the price I expected this product to be at least as fast as my old separate modem and router, but I haven't noticed any increased speed. I still get buffering when I stream movies on my SmartTV and I had expected this modem/router combo to solve that problem. The good part is that I haven't had to reconnect to use my Kindle, my smart phone or my smart tv and I previously had to do that every few days. I don't regret buying it, but I expected more because of the high price.

Had smaller surfboard model neeeded larger capacity. Acquired this unit, no more dropped access. Just called twc gave Id number . connected right away. All devices in house connect with no problems.

This modem is simple to setup, offers great coverage and has fast speeds. I definitely recommend this product for a larger household or households with multiple devices tethered to wifi

We have 11 devices on our wireless network with no slow down. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is we have reconnect devices to the network sometimes after the device has been turned off.

I have Comcast and my speeds jumped both direct connection to the PC and WiFi to my Macbook Pro. It was very easy to set up and install. I have been using this for 3 weeks and it works great.I had been getting 16GPS with the PC and 6GPS with wifi to my MBP. Now I am getting 25 GPS to all machines.

I bought it, installed it, configured it, and haven't had to touch it since. My previous Modem/Router had to be restarted every other day! The configuration software is easy to understand and has a great interface.

I live in an apartment and was getting Wifi frequency interference from the surrounding apartments. While I may get 86 MBs on my hardline computer, my Wifi was getting 20 MBs. The interference forced me to use a network extender to reach the Xbox one in my bedroom. Got the SURFboard and now I'm running 60+MBs on my Xbox on the 5ghz frequency and run all my mobile devices off the regular frequency, exactly what I wanted!

This was my first choice to replace a two year old Zoom combo unit purchased from Best Buy. The Zoom started giving problems but in the end it turned out to be a problem with Charter. I bought this unit since it was new on the market and had a lot of great features I wanted. Turned out after several attempts Charter couldn't recognize the unit for me to log on. I returned it and bought a Netgear product which works fine but doesn't have the bells and whistles of this unit. Ultimately my problem was corrected by Charter but not before returning this unit.

Bought this Modem/router after tiring of the Comcast units performance and price. This modem/router works much better and has provided me with better response times. Sadly, it cannot make up for the poor service Comcast typically provides but it certainly improves it.

We bought this and used it for a day until our internet company asked why we weren't using our Apple Airport router. Oops, so we switched to that instead and returned this product. It worked fine and streamed data and movies quickly.

I would recommend this all-in-one unit for anyone who is using a cable provider, TWC or the like, to connect to the Internet and maintain a wireless network for phones, tablets, tv's, speakers, ... Of course you'll also need the money upfront to cover this investment, but the functionality will last for years to come. You'll also free yourself from the unnecessarily high monthly rental/lease rates imposed by your provider. The argument that you'll lose your connection completely if this unit goes down may be valid for some. My network is wireless, so my connection goes down completely if either unit goes out anyway.

has definitely made downloading faster , strong signal throughout the house ( all 3 floors)

I would would highly recomend this modem. Its fast and easy to use and setup. A must for anyone doing lots of downloads

This thing just work and the best thing is I save 10 dollars per month from not paying time warner cable equiment fee. It modem and router in the same machine. Looking for something simply to use to operate and it just work can't go wrong with this machine.

This unit is fantastic with my new Wi-Fi Blu-ray player and with a new 2 antenna dongle we had to buy for my son's Xbox 360 but had all kinds of issues getting the unit to communicate with my old Blu-ray player (4 1/2 yrs) and the old single antenna dongle on the Xbox 360. Spent over an hour on the phone w/ Motorola tech support but to no avail. I ended up having to buy new equipment to take full advantage of the speed of this unit. So while the equipment is great, it may require upgrading some hardware to appreciate its speed.

Great if you have purchased 15+mbs internet from your provider. Wifi is very fast, the range on the signal is fantastic. Not the cheapest one but remember you don't need a router with this, it is all built in and for the money it is a great value.

Like to fact that the modem and wi-fi are together - did not have to purchase two separate components. Easy start-up and installation.
