Very easy setup. Setup with my cable company, who provides my Internet, was simple and quick. The blue light is bright, but I dimmed it a bit with not-very-sticky tape.

Our internet has been working great since upgrading our modem to this and pairing it with eeros. Stop paying rental fees from your internet provider and save yourself money for the long haul.

Surprisingly 10 times better than any Netgear modem that I have owned and I was very surprised when it got here due to the size the pictures one Best Buys website tend to depict this modem to be large like the Netgear modem that I used to have but in all actual fact this modem is very compact and would fit on a small shelf and it also does give you the 2.5 Gbps if you have a lan port on you computer/laptop that is rated for that speed or a router that can handle that.... All in all I would 100% recommend this modem to anyone that is looking to bump up their internet speed somewhat this modem works best for anyone who has 1gig speed internet but will work with lower connection speed also

I had my previous arris surfboard for 4 years but noticed a little bit of a bottleneck in my network so I decided to pull the trigger on this as it was compatible with xfinity. I didn’t need a wireless modem as I had a mesh system. After a few reviews this item was usually at or near the top of recommended equipment. Install and set up were easy and in no time I was seeing consistent speeds. For whatever reason though I noticed that my ubiquiti UniFi system wasn’t able to communicate with this modem so i did end up purchasing a new Orbi mesh system. I am not sure which piece of equipment was at fault for the lack of compatibility but I switched to a Netgear Orbi system and it it works great. My speeds more than tripled compared to my old modem and wifi system. If it last as long as my previous surfboard it should save me money in the long run as I’m not paying the monthly xfinity rental fee.

I had to upgrade my modem per my provider. Glad I went with this model. EASY to switch over. No issues, everything transferred automatically. Love it!!

I wanted the faster internet speed so I chose this DOCSIS 3.1 unit to replace a 3.0 unit by the same manufacturer. Easy installation. Seems like it just did what it was supposed to do. I have used it for about a month with COX internet and have not had any issues. Would purchase again.

Always loved surfboards. After my spectrum modem started going out and they were going to take a week to come out i got this and love it. Works very well with my eero wifi system and even get an extra 100 mpbs out of my service

This modem does precisely what it said it was going to do. It just works 2.5g. Wan port allows you to break that gigabit threshold. It's reliable. It just works. You set up it up and forget about it.

It works as it should, set up to my Xfinity was easy but it took some time, and as of right now no issues. I purchased ASUS ZEN (black towers) mesh and works like a charm.

Our area just got 1 gig speeds, and this has more than helped to make that a reality. The specs on this modem are thoroughly future proof as well, as even when speeds extend this modem should be compatible for that bandwidth. Solid buy

The router is an upgrade to the previous due pared model. My bandwidth dropped significantly and I wondered what the issue had been. After investigating I found that I needed to upgrade to this newer router. Once again I am now getting the 1g download bandwidth for which I pay. I d recommend this router. I will say that this model is meant to be placed on a surface rather than hanging in a nail to the wall. This models design is fit for placing anywhere and it is not an eye sore. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

Super easy to setup. Replaced a reliable old netgear that just didnt keep up with speeds. Dont pair with a Linksys router those things are trash

I am loving this modem. I have NOT had any issues whatsoever since purchase. I am using it with Xfinity internet service, I have a 400MBPS. So it is been under utilized at the moment but planning to upgrade my plan to 1GBPS in the future. I will recommend this product.
