Bought this to replace former Arris that xFinity told me was the reason for my lack of internet service. Turned our the existing Arris was fine and had not needed replacing. This new one is supposedly even better and certainly works well but we do not place heavy demands on it. The reason for this review is the outstanding tech support I got from Arris in setting up the new one. I thought only Apple and Samsung provided such excellent support. I am now a loyal Arris customer forever.

Nice modem does take up much space. Easy setup, also provide my home with a good speed of internet.

Bought this modem as a temporary replacement for the Comcast modem. Unfortunately, Comcast doesn’t allow a consumer to use two IP addresses which means you can only use one port. 1.4 gigabits down and 44 up. Does run hot when pushed hard.

Replaced the Arris 6240 modem, limiting throughput to mid 240+ MB with the new S33. Now the throughput is very close to 1GB! Setup was a breeze, speedy, and easy. Extremely happy.

Best modem that I have seen cosmetically appealing: compact, space-ship like, and stylish. Functionally I honestly do not know if it is any better than anything else. But cosmetically it is a winner.

Easy to setup and as long as your cable provider sets the right software, speeds are as advertised. But a word of caution, not all of your devices will be able to use the technology so speeds over 600mbos maybe underutilized.

I bought this because my Netgear modem stopped working with my ISP. This has worked flawlessly for several months now and I have no complaints. Easy setup process too. This will handle Gigabit speeds and beyond!

Been running this for two days now without any issues. Upgraded from the SB8200 to this S33 to get the 2.5gb port. I use it with Cox gigablast and haven't had any issues yet.

Again, one of those silent purchases, It works perfectly as far as I know. I haven’t had any issues with the merchandise whatsoever. I have had issues with my Internet provider that has nothing to do with this flawless little machine.

My current Surfboard was not capable of 1200mbps so I jumped on this and all is as advertised. Simple setup and we're blazing faster than ever.

Overall reliability is great and connectivity has been nearly perfect since installation. This is an excellent modem for anyone in the market for one.

Works good so far. It gets little hot though but foot print is pretty small. So far excellent speed and no latency issue.

I was expecting to get gigabit speeds with this product since we paid for that level of service from Xfinity, but the light on the ethernet port never seems to indicate that we're receiving such speeds; however when I test my internet speed, it is usually just fast (have gotten 'blazing fast' on occassion) depending on which device and how close to a Wi-Fi point I am. Is my problem with Xfinity? Are they allowed to sell me a tier of service that they don't actually provide to my service area? I can't tell where the problem lies. Otherwise, set up was very easy and app interface is simple and efficient. I'm still happy with the purchase.

This has been working great for a year now! My internet is seeing higher speeds than what I pay for.

Used this to replace Arris 3420 that decided to stop working. It was easy to hook up, called my IP gave the mac# & serial# and within 30 seconds it was up and running. It’s giving us the speed that we signed up for
