Purchased this to replace an existing SB modem because the Internet provider now requires DOCSIS 3.1. Easy to set up and no problems. Performance is good.

I was looking to switch from cable for my tv to streaming. I was using an Arris Modem/Router Docsis 3.0 to start. Although I was paying for 800 Mbps I was only getting 20-30 Mbps at the modem. My streaming was very sketchy and constantly buffering. I went to Best Buy a talked to an associate who suggested this standalone Modem coupled with a Google Nest system. After purchasing this combo I am now getting consistently 700 Mbps at the modem and having no buffering. Coverage and speed is great throughout the house. I am overjoyed with this product to this point,

This was a great performing cable modem, handling gaming traffic, multi-gigabyte uploads and downloads (WFH!) and the usual multi-device home stuff. BUT...it consistently ran VERY, VERY hot and ultimately quit working after just 5 months from purchase at Best Buy. We suffered from intermittent wifi and ethernet pauses and delayed responses for a couple of days, but couldn't isolate the reason. Then the S33 just flat died. My wife and I both WFH, so this really hurt. Our house has used Surfboard/Arris modems as long as I can remember, but a $200 modem burning up in 5 months has really soured us on the brand. Replaced it with a Motorola modem with a much bigger, open, heat-dissipating housing.

Modem has worked excellent with our Comcast internet. Since changing it out we have less issues with it connected to the Orbi Routers.

Set-up was easy. The internet is the fastest it's ever been.

Quick and easy setup and service provider was able to recognize it immediately.

Awesome small profile modem. It does get quite warm and while it has two gig ports only one is useable unless you call your cable company. Reliable.

This device is incredible. Now I’m getting exactly what I pay for from my ISP. The size is very small but extremely powerful. I strongly recommend it.

Love it so far! Easy setup, no buffering when streaming, works in rooms where we had weak signal, now have wifi out in the yard where we previously didn’t. Haven’t had to reboot because of loss wifi signals. Should have upgraded a long time ago.

Worked excellent for Astound broadband 300MB in NYC. Send the Mac to customer support first. Then just connect the coax cable to the back and Ethernet port to a WiFi router. Everything worked after my service was activated

great purchase I Priest, my Internet speed from Xfinity and after a couple of problems at the set up, which it turned out was Xfinity’s fault.. Gigabyte internet speed & this is grest choice i had the last gen arris but this is superior

Really easy to use. Easy to install. Great range. Greatly recommend for the price. My wifi is so much better

New technology tripled my download speed after 10 minutes of set up. The app in box walks you through set up with Comcast/ Xfinity. No direct lan access to computer needed. Can set up all through app with Xfinity app. Download speed went from 280 mbps to 890 mbps with the new technology.

Although it does get a bit warm since there is no active cooling, this is just a great overkill cable modem for most use cases.

So far, so good. It works as advertised. I'm getting all of my speed with this modem. It's small and light so it can placed out of sight. With a very good router, you will be very satisfied.

I bought this as a replacement for my 3-year old Arris Surfboard modem. So far none of the slowdowns or constant reboots that we started needing after Comcast upgraded us to 1.5 Gb because the modem refused to maintain a DOCSIS 3.1 connection. I can't speak to the experience with other cable providers, but setup through the Xfinity app was quick and painless. I was up and running in less than 15 minutes.
