Dealing with Xfinity was the only negative I could have and that has nothing to do with this cost effective highspeed modem. It cant get much easier than this for not a lot of money.

Easy setup, fast connection.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not much you can say about a modem, but it was a breeze to set up and it can handle up to 2.5G connections with ease - just make sure you have a modem with a 2.5G WAN port if you do intend to use it for a connection faster that 940MBPS… A nice feature is the ability to turn off the status light when operating normally if it’s located in a room where you’d rather not have a bright blue or green light shining 24/7.

It delivers the internet!

We got this to replace an old, slower modem we have, and speed increases were immediately significantly higher than the old one. Spectrum had difficulty setting it up on their end, but not me, and they eventually figured it out - it is approved on their network. Overall, for a device you just need to function, I'm happy with how this one has performed so far.

Highly reliable cable modem

Over the years I have had a lot of different versions of these and the only time they need to be replaced are due to hardware limitations for upgrades and faster speeds. I upgraded my old SURFBoard to this one so that we could get gig cable speeds. It has been running great for the last few months without issue.

Comcast/Xfinity internet is terrible and the worst internet provider I have ever had but we are forced to use them where we live. However, this item does well. Only reason I am not giving this five stars is because I feel that this overheats. I would be very mindful of where you place this item in your house.
