I was having internet issues. I was advised by an associate to upgrade my modem since I had it for quite some time. I made sure this modem was on the approved list for Cox Cable before I made the purchase. The process to switch my old modem took less than 10 minutes. I upgraded to Gigablast and love it! Thank you! I am glad I upgraded my modem!

Easy set-up. i did check with cable provider (Astound) to assure it was compatible modem. Phone support from Astound was excellent to complete hook up.

I don’t know Mach about internet. I know it wasn't working good on the model router combo I was using. I bought this tuna paired it with an eero 6 pro wireless router system and I haven’t had any issues since. Internet is fast too.

Oh man ! I did not know a modem and a router both separate was actually better than a modem router combo... this modom in combination with the Asus RT AX82U AX5400 is God tier with a household with more than 10 devices.

This router is good. I changed my internet plan to gigabit service and this router is way more than capable to provide that for you since the first jack is 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port. You just need to make sure you have the speed provided to you by your ISP. There is a second 1-Gigabit Ethernet but, you need to call your ISP and get a separate IP address in order to use that IP. Overall - great modem for a great price!

I bought this to replace the MB8611. I don't regret it. The MB8611 is a great modem but i think it either burned out or something but it's stopped pumping the 2gig internet and dropped to 400mbps. After two comcast techs coming out and verifying all was good i decided to check this one and it's been a dream.

Easy installation, works like a champ! Don't lease your modem from your Internet provider.

I signed up for 1g internet but my older modem wouldn’t work with that spped so I had to break down and upgrade. Read the reviews on several modems and decided to get this one. A five minute call with th rolling with some dang fast internet. Would do it again.cable company and I’m now.

A+. Easy to install and activate No regrets, recommend

Looks great and is very fast. Set up was easy..if you are Xfinity like me. Just plug it in the use Xfinity app to put mac address and once it finds it , it will activate and start. At first had a bit difficult with Xfinity that it wasn't able to find it but after exchanging works flawless. Just note you may have to restart a few times and give it time to fully update and get your speed up to what it should be. Will start off slow but after q couple restarts I got faster than my plan speeds! Almost gigabit speed when I am not even paying for it. Much faster than my previous surfboard with docsis3.0. great soft at and had it for a couple of months. Got another for my in-laws and so much faster throughout.

This was a perfect replacement for the modem that the Internet Service Provider gives you with your system. It took me about 10 minutes to set it up (including calling the ISP) and it has been running my network with zero problems

Works great. The unit feels warm, compared to the Cable modem I had which was an Arris as well. I returned the cable Motorola gig modem since it kept crashing daily for this unit and so far no issues other than what is mentioned previously.
