Xfinity said the highest i get is 800gb down, and this makes me get up to 950gbs down. Idk how or why but I'm not complaining. It's definitely a great investment

ARRIS Surfboard modem has completely excellent. I have it paired with a Netgear Nighthawk and my internet is absolutely flawless. It's a perfect combo haven't had any issues and a very easy setup too.

A modem should be a largely invisible component in the network. If you have to deal with it, it is a problem. Thankfully, this one fits the bill - it just works. Replaced a Motorola MB8611 with this after the Motorola device started rebooting several times a day dropping internet connection for 10mins each time.

Plugged into my laptop, took forever for the Spectrum activation to appear. Downloaded the app on iphone, which doesn’t do very much apart from give you a product manual. Plugged into my AX86u and then the games began. Got the ‘ISP’s DHCP does not function properly’ error. Set it to auto detect, which failed a couple of times. Set time zone in router and rebooted a couple of times, eventually was successful. I did not see drop in power as others reported, mine actually improved by 1-2 units. I did see a drop in latency from 12ms to 15ms. Accessing the modem, through 192.168.100.1 I had to over-ride on my iphone to allow. No way to clear event log. Was either this model or the MB8611. The S33 on paper has more memory (better buffer capacity), time will tell.

I previously had a Motorola Gigabit speed Modem, but even though I had gigabit speed internet from Cox, I wasn't getting the full capability from my wifi. So I decided to upgrade my router and at the same time purchased this modem when it was on sale. Now I get 1200 mbps. Very happy with my purchase.

Setup was a breeze. Easy to configure and get me up and running. Wish there was a power button just to make power cycling easier.

Resolved my connection issues with Comcast-Xfinity that were happening due to the faulty Motorola MB8611 cable modem. This modem has been solid as usual for the Arris brand and can easily support the high bandwidth plans from Comcast.

Easy to connect. I bought this after my last modem died and I’ve had no issues.

I upgraded to this and it has improved my connection speed and strength in my apartment building (where I used to struggle) immensely. Been using for 6 months, no problems.

It's a great modem! Haven't had any issues with it. The only issues I had were with my ISP and product support but they were worked out. Honestly the setup issues were to be expected. But since then it has worked beautifuly and I'm so happy I no longer have to lease a modem!

I hunted everywhere for exactly what I wanted here and I found it! Great price, fast service (the modem, that is!) This one should last a few years at least!! OH, and it's light weight, I have it mounted to the side of my desk with command strip velcro!

We were having trouble with our last modem, and replacing it with this one solve the problem. It was easy to set up and everything went really smoothly through the app.

The Arris cable modem is a key component of a solid internet system. Works perfectly as advertised. I initially purchased 1st Arris until through Amazon. It was junk, didn’t work and was returned. Save your self headaches and hassle and buy from Best Buy to eliminate risk of buying defective goods.

I had the previous model and to me they are basically the same. I like the look of this one better but find not tell a difference in any other way. The previous one was a great modem and so far this one is too.
