Price was excellent works better than expected. Worked with optimum without issue just be prepared to be on phone for a little awhile.

So far, it works as advertised with our 1Gbps Xfinity cable Internet. Setup was easy, went to the Xfinity website, registered the modem and got everything to work under 20 minutes.

It’s a great device for higher speeds and faster speeds with work from home.

If you have a high speed internet connection and want a good solid modem- this is it. This does not have a home phone connection. It works really well when paired with with a solid Mesh Network or a High Powered Managed Wireless Network.

Purchased this because my internet was down and I wanted to make sure it wasn't the modem. I have the quick speed from Spectrum so I don't pay rental however I decided to keep it, guy from Spectrum said it was a good one. It only became listed as an approved Spectrum modem this past September. I do enjoy it's much smaller than the Spectrum issued box. I am only skeptical because I feel like internet performance went down since install. The repair tech said that they were having speed issues with everyone at home but I thought it was odd he would show up and we would slow down a little.

Great so far. Internet is fast. Needed to upgrade and this was what I chose. Happy I did.

I went to Best Buy to get a modem that could handle the one gig per second service I’m getting from Comcast. I bought this modem since it says it can handle over Two gigs per second. Comcast is now telling me that this equipment cannot handle the speed it is supplying. Now I don’t know what to do.

Worth it, its well recommended to use. I will recommend this to other people

Arris modems have always been good, and I bought this modem to take advantage of 1.2G Internet Connection that my internet provider upgraded for me. Just work, no complain whatsoever.

Had a Spectrum modem, speed was terrible. Purchased this Surfboard modem and speed is now INCREDIBLE. Ditch the Spectrum modem and get the speed you’re paying for.

Easy to setup and use, it's extremely fast if you have the proper internet speed. A little bit of overkill but it pairs well with a Wi-Fi 6 router to future proof your home network. It also reboots in a minute or less. My only issue is it required a hard reboot every week to maintain high speeds.

I kind of was forced into buying this by cox cable. They said they were upgrading their infrastructure amd they were going to charge me more if I didn't have a newer modem. Anyway, this works fine and is fast. No issues with quality or connectivity.

Pricey for what it is, but this is replacing my awful spectrum EN2251 that has plagued me with problems that spectrum denies is the modems doing. Sure enough, once I replaced their modem with this one all issues went away (intermittent disconnects, failure to negotiate with router at full gigabit, fluctuating download speeds).

Excellent product. Set up was fairly quick and easy once I got a rep at Cox communications to recognize it was one of their accepted products. I have a separate router and I did have to do a factory reset before everything was good to go.

Great upgrade over my 5 year old modem. I was getting about 400mbps before on a 800mbps plan. I got this new modem and it shot up to my 800mbps. Only downside is the app is terrible but you never need to use it.

Works well but had to contact Comcast twice to get them to set up their end of the software. No problem with 200 mb Comcast service. Don't blame ARRIS for Comcast issues. After setup works no problem.

My old Netgear CM1000 v1 was no longer supported by Comcast. It was still working but decided to upgrade. Went with the S33 and very happy. Noticed a slight increase in download speed for the Blast tier.

Works with Spectrum service in MKE. Keep in open and well ventilated location It gets warm.

Why would anyone rent a cable modem when they could buy one for a fraction of the cost. This was delivered in two hours, great value and super easy to hook up. Best part is that no one can throttle me down with my service!
