    This is my 2nd setup of a personally owned modem. First was a NetGear Nighthawk that gave me quite a bit of trouble . I ultimately replace it with this Arris S33. This was on the list of recommended equipment from XFinity. Setup went smooth and network performance is good.

    Finally have internet service that is reliable and fast! Doesn't matter what COX solution you have, their modems suck. Change out now

    Olig was great- helped us find the right modem- texted Cox to find out how we could install- and provided the model # to the Cox chat. Explained how we would connect at home-and it went very smoothly. He also mentioned that we should upgrade to 500 channel wifi with Cox- to get the best wifi for the wifi needs and the size of our house. We took his instructions and wifi is working great.

    So far, absolutely delighted. It was not particularly easy to set up, but that was primarily due to Comcast / Xfinity not provisioning the modem properly. It also turned out that, although Comcast had told me my old modem was faulty, which caused me to buy the Surfboard, it was actually a wiring issue outside my house which had been the problem all along. Having said that, I am very happy with this modem

    Quick and easy setup on Xfinity. Was paying for 200Mbps, but only getting 130 with my older Docsis 3.0 router. Now I'm getting 230Mbps.
