I have used the ARRIS surfboards for my last 4 wireless modems over the years. The ease of set up is amazing as well as the added speeds that were delivered from upgrading to this 3.1.

LAN output plugs, Feels twice as fast as my previous, and with DOCSIS 3.1, as fast as my ISP can send. So, I'm super happy with this $170 price point for this modem.

Purchased this rather than continuing to pay rent for a cable modem and has been super reliable from the beginning. Well on it's way to paying for itself as of this review.

I bought this to use with Comcast internet so I didn’t need to rent the box every month.. I love it and have no problems with it, it was easy to set up and use.

It picked up after a day with Comcast. Only concern might be not getting the gig upload speed I used to get with the DOCSIS 3.0. Paying Gigabit speed with Comcast and download speed is crazy fast. Seems to be working fine and have not noticed any heating issues.

Works great for us. The prior sporadic connectivity issues we were experiencing were resolved with this modem.

We replaced our Comcast provided modem with this. It pays for itself after 10 months and also had higher throughput speeds than our Comcast modem/router combo. Way better

Needed a faster solution and this did the trick. Easy to install and setup - going in less than 5 minutes.

Getting a 3.1 modem is a good future proofing upgrade or current upgrade to make sure gigabit internet works well for you. I trust Surfboards and this is my third one. No problems so far.

If your internet provider has increased your speed you probably need to update your modem and this one works great.

a little disappointing in the box there is no etherent cable or coax cable for connection. 1 note even though there is dual etherent ports unless you run in LAG mode the unit can only assign 1 IP address

This device was easy to set up. Just plug and play with Comcast. Just make sure you have your account user name and password. Once its synced it takes about 30 minutes to hit all the gateways.

Plug (activate) and play. Very easy to install. I currently pay for 400mb/s with Spectrum SoCal and burst anywhere from 450/475mb/s. Hardware stays nice and cool.

Works as advertised. I was planning on upgrading to 1 gig internet but did not so a little overkill but was time to replace the prior modem anyway

Works great. Save some money and buy your own equipment. This way, when something happens to your modem, you can go exchange it (with the geek squad warranty) and be back up amd running in a day!

This modem was a breeze to install! The front panel indicator lights allow for very easy check on status, making it especially convenient to view the blue light.

Needed a quick, quality modem replacement. Ordered on BB website for same day pickup. Glad we went w aaris surf. It's faster and much improved. Thx A
