Rock solid reliability. Been using Arris modems for years without issue

very simple to set up but had to contact cable internet provider (Optimum) to get it to be recognized.

Bought this for our house in Bend, Oregon. It works great with Bend Broadband.

Used this to stop paying rental fee for xfinity modem each month... Just swapped it out and worked fine on first try.

Great modem This was a long time coming to update to the lastest technology

This is a very solid modem. Easy installation with the assistance of Xfinity. I get about 986 download speeds consistently.

The device works perfectly, giving me a 30% boost over the unit it replaced on the same cable service.

The modem itself is great. The set-up was another matter, although everything worked out in the end. There is no manual with the unit, just a QR code to download an app to interface with Comcast to get the unit online. But the QR code snd app require internet access, and if we had internet access we would not need a new modem… We went across the street to use neighbors’ Wi-Fi to download the app, but their internet coverage did not extend across the street. Without contacting real people at Comcast (a horror story in itself with Comcast’s automated system), we could not get the modem activated and still had no internet. Drove to BestBuy to consult with their techs, and they told us to go to the Comcast store a mile away to resolve the issue. Waited 45 minutes in Comcast lobby to meet with a service rep, who was lovely. Fortunately we had brought the info on modem model and serial number, and in 5 minutes she had switched over authorization so the new unit was talking to Comcast. Reviewed our plan and offered us a small discount on a new plan with even faster internet connection. So after a few hours of headaches we were back in business. How on earth Arris can expect us to set up internet access without internet connection and only the most general advice to call Comcast’s nightmare automated system is beyond me. The unit itself probably deserves 5 stars, but set-up rates one star.

Worked great but needed to have a router that was 3.1. Returned and got the dual router/modem 3.1.

Return your ISP modem and definitely purchase this modem it pays for its self.

Our old modem crashed so we went and bought this one. It was easy to set up and works well for our computing and tv needs.

If you have a cable ISP, this will support everything up to Gig speeds. I really really like fast internet.

Does everything is advertised it to do. But I can’t say this enough set up first time around was pain less fast and easy! I would definitely recommend this modem!
