ARRIS - SB8200 modem upgrade

Xfinity email me that old modem was no longer supported. This modem had more bandwidth and we have no issues with it. I like the two outputs for computer, for now usuing one to wireless router. Was on sale .

Not as good as hoped

It was a little weaker on the signal. We need a solid performer due to the location where it was placed vs where it was needed. We returned it and instead purchased the netgear nighthawk. We needed that little extra that the Arris couldn’t deliver. I would still recommend it for others but it really depends on location in the home and other variables.

Decent modem

I used the previous versions with no problems but it seems ARRIS is not keeping up with the competition. It might be worth considering paying a little more for a more powerful modem
