After debating for quite some time I decided to purchase this modem to improve the speed of my home network.
Previous experience with arris modems was good and this one is not the exception. It offer the possibility to have two WiFi routers.
Installation was a breeze and the size is perfect.

Was having problems with Internet connectivity with the supplied modem from Spectrum, so did a little research and chose the Arris SURFboard to replace it. Since replacing it, I have had zero problems and am experiencing better overall speed and performance from my connection.

I bought this for a family member to replace their aging DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem and allow them to upgrade to gigabit speeds — and it didn’t disappoint. The modem, I’m told, was easy to set up and is delivering great download and upload speeds with their upgraded internet connection.
Great modem!

This works perfectly. Right out of the box. I have been leasing modems for years, then after our move and saw how much I was spending on just the modem, I decided to give it a try owning one. Went to Best Buy, told David, the associate, what I needed, and to my surprise, it wasn't the most expensive one. He told me all about it, I trusted him and I am glad I did. It set up easily. I highly recommend this product.

Updated my modem to the Arris 3.1 along with getting a 1 gigabit internet speed from my cable provider. It's like daylight with all that speed compared to my slower connection. I've had no issues over the past month using this hardware and would recommend to others.

Excellent modem. I replaced a 3.0 Netgear modem and almost instantly we noticed a difference. In use with the Linksys Wi-Fi 6 system and using the log download we were able to help our internet provider find an issue in our lines, but that didn't stop the operation of this modem.

A good reliable cable modem. The last one I had of this brand lasted a decade. This one works just as good as that so far. No lemon here

I bought this product and ended up returning it so I never actually used it. I have spectrum for Internet. I bought the euro pro 6E mesh Wi-Fi system when I called spectrum to get everything set up they said that this specific modem can have quick speed, but we had to lower our upload speed in order to use that specific modem so I ended up returning it. I heard great things about it. I wish the price on this specific modem was a lot cheaper, but in today’s world, everything is 100 more dollars than what it really should be.

Fairly easy setup and it's working great with Sparklight. I did have to call Sparklight to activate the modem, but once I did that, it has worked flawlessly.

Been using this product for about a month now and it seems to be working. Few times the network was not working and not sure if it was the SP but for the price it's good. This is a modem only, had to get the wifi router. I had this an old Arris 3.0 this one is 3.1. setup was easy, plug and go.

Fast Modem but 10Gbps...? Seriously...Arris?

I recently upgraded to 600Mbps down and 35Mbps up I had an Arris SB6183 but it could not get over 550Mbps down even though it is rated for 600+. My ISP told me to get a 3.1 modem. There are other cheaper options with 3.1 modems but I decided on Arris due to my past history with them. I am now getting 630+Mbps down and 37Mbps up consistently. Some reviews state this runs hot. I have not noticed any excessive heat issues. All my Arris modems in the past always ran warm.
On a side note…Take the up to 10Gbps on the box with a grain of salt. Yes DOCSIS 3.1 supposedly supports up to 10Gbs. However both of the Ethernet ports on the back are only 1Gbit. So if somehow my ISP could bond the two ports with a special device then maybe I could get 2Gbps later on. Even if I could get 2Gbps down from my ISP it would take a large investment on my end to upgrade my Ethernet cables to CAT6a and a new router with 10Gbps ports and my PC with a 10Gbps NIC.

I wanted a modem that works at the higher than 100 mbps range that my cable company offers. This modem was really a plug and play and connecting it was as easy. It worked well the instant it was installed and the quality of the transmission was immediate. I'm glad I made this purchcase.

If you are looking to jump on the gigabit bandwagon for your home internet package, this is one of the best places to start. Among the current Docsis 3.1 modems on the market capable of handling these speeds, this model wins the prize when it comes to stability, speed, latency and hardware. We have been running it straight since our first test of the modem, without a single reboot yet--now going on 2 months (thus far). Our speeds have been consistent throughout this window and with no outages (knock on virtual wood) or any other red flags. As mentioned, it has the best hardware we have seen (including memory) in a Docsis 3.1 modem and it seems to reflect well with some of the Arris/Moto models we have benchmarked in the past--with the slight exception of the SB6190, which came close but latency had pulled that one down in performance some thanks to the PUMA chipset inside. This model sports a new chipset with low latency and the rest we have already pointed out.
