So far so good. We cut the cable cord after much consideration. We were paying $317 per month now down to $50 bucks internet only and 2 streaming services included. We watch all the same stuff on TV. This modem and a decent router and we’re good to go. Had a little problem with set up but quickly resolved.

It works like a champ. Setup of this modem was quick and easy and you simply plugin the coaxial cable, Ethernet cable to your router and power cable and you are off and running. A quick call to your internet provider (Spectrum for me) to add the HFC MAC address and the modem is registered and provisioned and I'm up and running within 15 minutes. The modem is warm, but not hot as usual. I traded my used SB6141 and get a 15 % coupon which brought the cost of this modem further down.

The modem itself has worked without issue since I picked it up. I've reached ~800 mbps so far but I'm sure that's due to either the file host or COX itself, not the modem. I'd recommend buying your own modem rather than renting them from the cable provider.

I have bought 3 Arris Surfboards for various places. They work so effortlessly and reliably. I never experience the issues I did with lesser quality or units supplied by my ISP. Prices are reasonable and they work fantastic.

Was previously having some intermittent issues with my old modem which was several years old and while it was technically still supported by my ISP, it was supported at a lower speed than I have had for a bit so I figured it was time to upgrade. This new unit helped even out the spikes and now we can stream on multiple TVs at once, and more importantly with two full time individuals WFH we can both be in video conferences at the same time without lag or dropout issues. Didn't even have to upgrade our wifi as our mesh network was already robust enough.

Very easy to setup & install. Upgrading allowed us to take advantage of the higher mbps our internet provider was offering.

I was looking to replace my old modem to upgrade the speed for my PS5. It made a big difference in speed and reliability.

I purchased this thinking that there was an issue with my new Router that is Wifi 6 protocol. However, it appeared that it was my firmware for the router that botched things up. Well I ended up liking this product so much I decided to keep it. This is Docsis 3.1 ready so it is future proof. The product handles Gigabit Speeds and up! This means that this should last you for several years. The one thing I like about this product is that it has to ports in the back, which I run to my PS4 and I get every bit of bandwidth I pay for and with WIFI6 my home crushes gaming, work, Zoom/Skype teleconferences, and also makes our internet blazing fast. This is the bleeding edge and a good product by Arris, definitely would recommend this to anyone that has a really high speed plan.

Easy set up and connected quickly with our internet provider. Better than paying each month to rent from our internet provider.

I needed a new cable modem since my ISP started charging a rental fee for a ancient modem. With this modem I was able to upgrade my service to 600 Mb and it works peerfectly. Other reviews said it ran very hot but I haven't noticed that at all.

Have a previous Arris SB6190 that lasted for over 10 years running 24 hours a day. Had to upgrade to a Docsis 3.0 modem because my internet service would overload the 6190 and it would just freeze for 2-3 seconds every hour. This model is basically the same thing but more channels to handle faster internet up/down loads. I hope it lasts another 10 years+!

Works with Optimum Internet. Just make you call Optimum to register the device. But if you are reading this, seek a better internet provider. Fantasic Modem, easy to setup and it increased speeds and I'm saving 120$ a year now.

plug and play (with a phone call to you internet supplier) and your ready to go. Up to 10gbps allowed so I want need to upgrade for a long time. Once it was set up I was ready to connect it to my router. Easy 1.2.3. Installment.

I purchased this modem 8 months ago and it has been working well, I am obtaining 486mps download out of the 500 that I pay for and 53.11 upload speeds. No issues with the modem.

I have had to restart the modem already a few times and it's only been installed a month or so, but when it's working it seems okay.

I read all the reviews about different modems and I've been with Arris for the last 8+yrs. This modern does not lose connection, the speed is unbelievable. I haven't had to reset this at all and I've had this modem for about 1 month now.

I'm on Xfinity network and this leveraged my gigabyte internet well. Held a solid connection when there were no Xfinity issues. Small form factor but solid.

This the second one, love the speed,easy setup,plus don't have to buy from internet provider.
