I've got no idea what kind of technology I have at home, but my internet provider recommended this modem. One day, my old modem went down, and I had no internet. I didn't know what to do, and I know nothing about modems, so I panicked. To fix the situation, I went out and bought this model because it has the same manufacturer as my old modem.

Needed a DOCSIS 3.1 modem to achieve the increased internet speeds offered by my ISP. Worked out the box and have no issues.

Router had a couple issues getting set up, but no issues since then. Provides good speed and connectivity.

So much more reliable than renting the cheap cable company equipment. Since switching to my own modem, I have had no issues whatsoever for the last couple years. Handles gig internet speeds like a boss.

Setup was easy. Works great. I did have to call COX and get them to load the modem on their end.

Love the size of this unit, it has made internet surfing seam faster. I have used ARRIS products for several years and have never had any problems with any of their products.

I got this new, upgraded modem because ours was close to 7 years old. It was not working properly and wasnt even able to handle the internet speeds we had. This modem pretty much solved all the issues we had and we are comforted with the fact we should need to buy a new modem for another 5-6 years. But honestly I havent really seen that big of a speed improvement yet. This is after about 3 months of owning it. But I believe weve had less issues over all so thats a plus. I have nothing bad to say about this modem but because I havent seen a serious change in speed or anything I cant quite say its the best thing ever right now. I would say if your modem is old and youre having internet issues then its probably time to upgrade.

I was in need of a new modem for Suddenlink. The one I had was a zoom modem but I wasn't getting the speeds I was paying for which is 400mbs. I was getting half that. Plus the modem was going in 10 years old anyway and the modem was only programed to give up to 300 and I was getting frequent disconnects. So I came across this modem trying to see what I would need to get after contacting suddenlink what kind of modem I needed for the speeds I'm paying for and they said I would need a docis 3.2 or 3.1. either way they said I would need this type of modem and I bought it and so far I am happy with the purchase. I had to call Suddenlink to help with the self install but after that was said and done I am now pretty much getting the speeds I am paying for.

Seemes to work well as intended and with going up to 3.1 allowed me to move up my internet speed.

I has been a little over a year since I since I got this modem. It was recommended by my internet provider. I haven’t had any issues so far and the internet seems to have a reliable speed

I had an older DOCSIS 3.0 Arris Surfboard and were experiencing buffering while streaming. We upgraded to this modem with the additional channels and the problems have gone away. A great modem at a great price.

great speeds compared to the 3.0 i had easy hook up if you dont use comcast

This modem is somewhat smaller size and also the footprint is smaller. That's always a plus. It has worked extremely well. It didn't "like" working with the Guardian Hub though and had to have a tech person come out and figure it out. Would recommend this to other buyers.

Bought this modem in Oct of 2021 and it has worked great up to this point (July 2023) Starting in July I have been having problems of losing my internet connection. I contacted my service provider and they can’t find any problems and have started that it MAY be the modem. I have this modem paired with an EERO Wi-Fi router. The two have been fabulous and if I can find out what is actually going on I will update this post.

This was quick and easy to set up, ive had it for 3 months and havent had any issues
